Amazing Company - If you want the best Go Greener Energy

So we bought our first home and really wanted to make it greener and leaner in terms of bills , I ended up on Greener Energy website by accident but what a happy accident it turned out to be .I completed a form and received an initial call from GE they were polite ,knowledgeable and helpful. They organised a appointment for Daniel to come visit us at our new home, as someone with social anxiety I did dread this , I cannot speak highly enough about Daniel he was an incredible initial impression of the company, he was very knowledgeable , honest and very detailed in how it would all work and the potential for our 200 year old property , he made us feel very comfortable in our choices and was the type of person who took the time and the effort to walk us through all our questions and queries and sent us very detailed email's and spent time with us to break it all down , this is quite a decision and you want it done right with the minimal amount of issues and Daniel was right there every step and continue to be even after the install . So after we had signed the agreement and received amazing guided help by the incredible Scott [who again no question went unanswered , always had time for us and every call or message was answered quickly and efficiently, this is hugely important to me and shows the mark of a good company ]. Next up was the surveyor visit and over to Tony to visit the house , again he was so professional , friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating with all our question and my wee Border Terrier puppy trying to attack his jeans / boots , survey complete Tony again always available to help us and get our questions answered helped guide us around the loft insulation [ especially after some rude company was trying to punt Foam ] . Also to everyone who helped us with our Loan via the Credit Union who were also very easy to deal with and made everything feel so simple . Now we get an install date and over Lee The roofer David the electrician and his apprentice Chris , with this being a 200 year old house we are about to have a challenge for GE but honestly they took everything in their stride , first up we have a very tricky driveway and poor Lee the roofer lost a tyre while navigating it but he was professional and still got on with the job like it never happened and the design for the panels he put together still has us and everyone who see it blown away it integrates so well on to the roof you would hardly know its there , next David the electrician is now ready to rig things up but guess what he discovers the house doesn't have an earth to the fuse board , David stayed with me to help me while I contacted SP Networks to sort this out {above and beyond again} , so eventually SP Network sort this then GE rearrange for David and his apprentice Chris to come back out to site to connect the solar next challenge is the wall thickness of our house its like a fortress it was freezing cold and dark but David and Chris got it all sorted despite the very challenging small fuse box area and the walls they were the ultimate electrical duo and their conversations were very funny . They kept us informed all the way through the install , checking their progress with us , confirming where we wanted things to be located and also brought a lot of friendly , professional banter to the job , again as someone who suffers massively with social anxiety they made the whole experience TOP N

After three years I realised I should have set up an annual service for my Air Source Heat Pump, which I then set up. The service engineer, Keir Blackwood, completed the service quickly and efficiently, was charming and helpful with all my questions and gave us a clean bill of health! I highly recommend Greener Energy for their product and reliability, not to mention the reduction to my electricity bill. My only wish is that they send out a reminder for servicing regularly each year to avoid the penalty fee.

Friendly, efficient and proactive service

Our system highlighted an error message and stopped our heating from working both from the Heat Pump and the Gas Boiler. We contacted Greener Energy the following morning, spoke to Brian who was helpful and said he would get Melissa to call us back to try and reset the system. Melissa called back an hour or so later and despite her best efforts we could not manage the reset over the phone. Melissa then arranged for Lewis to attend the following morning who was efficient and was able to get the system up and running again quickly. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful and we were up and running again in quick time

Faultless from start to finish

From the initial appointment to the installation, everything went smoothly and as expected. The scaffolders, the electricians and the solar panel fitters were on time, friendly and efficient, and did a great job, leaving no mess behind. Everything was explained, I was kept informed throughout the process and even our friendly dog was no problem. When everything was set up they helped set up the app and set everything up.

Original issue with mis-selling

Original issue with mis-selling. Eventually got a smart tariff now the system’s gone wonky. If the service I received yesterday was award winning I question what award it was because it was awful. Significant background noise on the phone from other agents made it impossible to hear the agent I was speaking to and she couldn’t help other than tell me to email Duracell. She couldn’t give me the number for Duracell which was right next to the email address in their website. Truly awful!!!

Phone contact is required for support.

The Technical expertise of this company is great, but if support is required then be sure to phone rather than email. The Duracell App could also be made simpler for connection of the "invertor" to any Home Network, but once achieved, it is impressive.

Great service at short notice

The service engineer, William, quickly got to the source of the problem and had our heating system back up and running within 30 minutes of arrival. He answered all my layperson questions with great patience and helped me understand a lot more about the ASHP and the heating / hot water systems.

Problems after snow and ice.
