Review Time
The customer service is terrible. If you get lucky and order the right size, it's probably a good experience, despite slow shipping time. But I wish you luck if the item doesn't work out... Returns are a nightmare. I have spent thousands with this company, and after a painful customer service experience, I think I'm done. I would not recommend.
The company is completely unethical both on the store site and within the company itself. They hire independent contractors such as accountants, get the work done that they need and then don’t pay them. They also have terrible customerxservice becausevthe company is poorly run and they likely have continuous turnover. Best advice is to just not deal with them at all.
Groceries apparels mission and minimalist clothes stood out to me so I didnt think twice and just ordered. Afterwards I came here and read the comments, freaked out and got impatient. It took them a few days to get back to me which was annoying but honestly I should have just been patient cause they did get back to me and they were awesome about it. Anyways my clothes came in a about two and a half weeks and I am living in them. So soft and coZy. I’ll def order again.
I hate to leave a bad review, because I really like the mission of this company and that they use natural plant dye etc. I ordered 3 t-shirts, 2 bras and a pair of shorts. It took weeks for me to receive my order. I was willing to forgive that because I was very excited about my items. When I finally received my order to my dismay neither of the bras fit. One was too small even though I am usually a medium and I ordered a large, and the other is just badly designed and even though I’m a smaller cup size my boobs fall out UNDER the bra because the fit is so strange and flimsy. I don’t understand, it’s almost too tight for me but then my boobs fall out, definitely not just a size issue, but a design/quality issue. I’m used to wearing bralettes and have never had an issue like this. But most importantly, two of the t-shirts I ordered at almost $60 each were MISSING from the order. I tried contacting the company. At first someone emailed me right back saying they would send the missing items right away, but then I never heard back despite following up a few times. My initial order was placed Mid-August. I received my order some time in the beginning of September. It’s now almost the end of September and I haven’t heard anything. I’m upset because I’m out over $100 in product I never received, two of the other items I ordered do not fit despite following sizing guidelines, and the customer service is apparently ghosting me. I have never left a bad review of a company before. I wanted to think that maybe my poor experience was just a freak anomaly and that the company overall is worth supporting, but the other reviews I am reading suggest my experience is not random. All this to say DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Poor design and fit of the bras aside, at best case Groceries is completely disorganized as a company and at worst they are actually dishonest and stole my money without sending me what I paid for. Still waiting…
It did take forever and amen for the orders to arrive, however that may just be because I’m accustomed to amazon delivery.Now here, the skirts, shorts, and shirts are all beautiful. Soft, good quality fabric. Feels great on the skin. Perfect every day wear. Will definitely be ordering more. Just expect that with quality comes some time to deliver. Thanks, Groceries!
Horrible experience Still no one is responding to me after 10 emailsI have not received my merchandise and no from the company will let me know what is happening.I love the mission of this company and want to support them but I will never order anything again.I also have never gone out of my way to write a bad review but this is incredibly unacceptable.I am at a total loss
If I could rate this company a -10 I would. The ordering process was a nightmare. I read horrible reviews once I placed an order so I immediately requested a cancellation of my order. They never responded to my multiple emails and shipped my order weeks later. Upon finally receiving the package (all items were a medium), the clothing sizes were so insanely off. Some mediums were huge and others were equivalent to an XXS. It took me months to finally get someone from the company to process a return and I ended up having to do a credit card chargeback because they never refunded me. Biggest regret ever. Do not buy.
The quality of the clothes I ordered was really, really awful. I ended up returning a pair of shorts because my boyfriend pointed how poorly they were made and he could tell when I tried them on. I liked the shirts I got and wore one of them once. Then I followed the care instructions on the label EXACTLY when washing and yet the shirt shrunk the first time I washed it... Not to mention, looked like it was years old too. I reached out to them immediately, and they asked for pictures. I sent them. Then they told me because it had been washed, they couldn't accept the return or refund... I told them that I followed all wash & care instructions and did everything to take care of the item yet it was falling apart and too small now. I don't think I should have to pay for a low-quality product that is one-use only, considering they are all about being "ethical" and "sustainable" They have no interest in making things right with customers. They will just refer to their "policy" a million times, no matter what you say. I can't tell if their customer service is outsourced or if all the people who work there are just unkind unsympathetic jerks who don't care if you spent your hard-earned money on overpriced low-quality clothes. They got their money.
I was very excited to try this company as from the outside they provide everything I am looking for; Organic, Transparent, and Cute. I ordered on Jan 9th and finally received HALF of my order on Feb 7th. I ordered 2 smalls and 2 extra smalls of the Olivia Rib Tank in pomegranate and Avocado (8 total tanks). I have to say there was very little consistency in all 4 tanks from stitching to the size/ length of the tanks. Fairly poor quality, sadly.Their return policy is as follows, "Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange." Meaning, since they took so long to send my product, I'm now not able to qualify for a return. They really need to get there Sh!! together.
