DO NOT buy from this company

DO NOT buy from this company! Total scam. They do not ship your items for over a month and then refuse to refund your money even if you return the items. This is up there with the worst, most scammy ecommerce experiences I've had.

No response

Wow, I wish I read these reviews before purchasing. Haven’t received my items or an update. It’s really not about being accustomed to Amazon shipping. We live in an e-commerce world where ethics are very clear when conducting business online. Obviously, they are scamming people and not being accountable. It’s been three weeks since my purchase and I requested a refund and I see that’s not gonna happen. Whoever is running this truly sucks.

Terrible experience

ordered 8 items from them, it took a whole month for my order to arrive. Upon receiving it, I discovered that 2 of the items did not match their descriptions (the composition on the tag was different). I emailed them three weeks ago and followed up three more times, but I have received zero response. This is incredibly disrespectful. Their website claims "100% guarantee - we want you to love what you buy," but in reality, they provide misleading descriptions and ignore their customers. This experience is absolutely appalling.

BUY ELSEWHERE

BUY ELSEWHERE. I purchased items on 5/31/24. I purchased from MATE the label and cottinique after this. After I received my orders from the other two companies, I got an email saying they were slow to get out the orders because of the overwhelming amount of orders. After finally receiving my order on 6/28/24 and opening a pair of shorts, I took the whole thing to the post office and returned it. The shorts looked really cheap. There wasn't even a gusset. They have had my return for 2 weeks now. I emailed them a week ago and still have not gotten a response about my refund. I have had to open up a credit card dispute with my cc company. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS?! WHERE IS MY REFUND?! This feels a lot like stealing...

Oh my gosh

Oh my gosh. Do not use this company. I wish I would have seen the reviews beforehand and I’m glad I didn’t spend more with them. My top is so comfy, but it’s not worth the long wait or the terrible customer service. Took a month to get my order and now it’s been 2 weeks trying to get a return started on the pants which are so scratchy(return can only be used for credit to wait another month to get), and I’ve yet to hear back on how to return. Lame. There are way better companies to support.

Groceries Negative Experience - Lack of Transparency in Return Policy

This company needs to learn a thing or two about truth in advertising. They are constantly having an sitewide sale to entice new customers, however, there is NO fine print stating that anything purchased at groceriesapparel.com at ANY sort of discount is for STORE CREDIT ONLY NO MATTER WHAT. I did not purchase anything marked final sale or that was an actual red tag item. The Groceries Return Policy was not stated on the homepage, or linked in the footer, nor was it anywhere an average consumer could easily find. I had to Google to actually find it. They “let me” return my items (all within the return window) and they were all in perfect condition, tags attached - they were just too small. They then took an MONTH to process my “return” which they processed as a Gift Card. Uh, no. After trying to reason with their customer service rep I ended up having to file a dispute (and won) with my credit card company. I got all my money back. I have never been treated so poorly and it’s their loss because I am a huge shopper. BUYER BEWARE.

Worst e-commerce experience I've ever had

I wish I would've read the Trustpilot reviews before ordering from this company. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had with an e-commerce brand. I will never order from them again. I placed my order on May 8th. I received two generic, vague emails about the status of my order on May 16th and 22nd. The shipping label was finally created on May 24th, but my order wasn't shipped until over a week later. My order was finally delivered on June 4th, almost a month later, after I was beginning to feel I'd been scammed and was about to dispute the charge on my credit card. When the clothing finally arrived, it fit fine, but I could tell it was dyed after it was sewn (the giveaway was the tags sewn inside are dyed the same color as the fabric). This can create issues with dye absorption, especially on thicker parts like seams and hems. Sure enough, after I washed my two new workout sets, the uneven dye application became apparent. There are spots all over my new clothes that look like bleach stains. The Pomegranate Iron 3 set I ordered changed color from a charcoal grey to brown. This is not how the clothing was marketed on their website, and there were no warnings about the vegetable dyes changing color after the initial wash. This company has seemingly turned off the ability to leave product reviews on their website. You can't even read the old reviews anymore. They've also been deleting negative comments about customer experiences like this (which seem to be common) on their Instagram. I cannot in good conscience recommend doing business with this company. Buyer beware.

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Had a large sale and lied about the return policy as they updated to say no returns AFTER the sale. The return link was broken and it took a week for anyone to get back to me. No response after I questioned why they’re changing their return policy after a bunch of people bought their products. Scammers. Do not support them.

Issues dye fading in random spots and the worst customer service ever!

I work in a health club and am required to wear leggings to work. I started getting rashes all over my legs and groin. I discovered I'm allergic to the dye used in synthetic materials. I was thrilled to find this company and ordered hundreds of dollars worth of clothing. I had the same experience as others regarding shipping time. It takes over 4 weeks before your items will ship. I wasn't upset over this as the product is so comfortable and no more rashes. My issue has been with fading colors. I have washed everything by hand and still get bleach like spots on the fabric. I don't use bleach and have not had this happen with any other items, just things purchased from Groceries. I finally got someone from customer service and she said she would replace the leggings. Here is my biggest complaint. My friend got these for me as a gift. I was told the exchange would have to come from the purchaser's email. First, I didn't want her to feel bad this happened. More importantly, I told the representative that my friend is going through cancer treatment and I didn't want to bother her with this. I had the order number and everything you could need to locate the order. She was not sympathetic and kept reciting that this is their policy. I wrote the email and asked her if she could send it. I was angry about the whole experience and decided I would never order from there again. Customer service has to be the worst I've ever experienced.

Really bad customer service experience

Really bad customer service experience. Good luck getting anything returned. Their return policy is absolute garbage. It looks like a cool hip company, but is ran like a cheap scam website. I was surprised my clothes even showed up based on having no confirmation email or shipping information at first, and very late responses to emails. Very long shipping times. Took a month for three shirts.
