Review Time
I called the number to determine the status of my return, documented in my 21 August review.Upon talking to "Star", I asked her about the status of my account, about the shoes that I returned 26 August. She told me That in order to activate the monies back to my account, I had to call in, and provide the tracking number. I told her I was never told this. She told me that it should have been told to me when I called the first time about the return. I told her it was not, and I included my email and phone number when I returned the shoes. She then told me that a credit had been issued to my credit card.If this is a new company, they need to improve customer service, because it is sorely lacking.
So they advertise these as a revolutionary concept in footwear that will make all sorts of foot maladies disappear. They offer a 30-day, complete satisfaction, no questions asked warranty. Guess what? There's nothing special about these, and the identical concept, if not the actual shoe is available numerous places at significant savings. Moreover, the return was painful. First, I made it clear that they did not provide the arch support necessary for comfort, and were not particularly comfortable anyway. They just offered me 15% discount and keep them. "What does any discount matter on a product that is of no use to me?" a couple of days later it was 30%. I replied with the same response and indicated I wanted a return with full refund. Then I received a long email indicating how, where and when I was to return them. Each item was specific with no room for error, including that they were to be returned by USPS ONLY! They would not recognize any return done via any other carrier. Mind you, I had to pay the return shipping cost. They indicated the product is to not have been used and must be returned in all of it's original packaging. I guess you should be able to tell just by looking at the product when delivered that their SHOES were unsatisfactory. So much for no questions asked! They even require you to print the full page return instructions and put them in the package with the return items. I reached out 2-weeks after they had received the return to ask where my refund was. Again, more delays with moronic questions about confirming this was the order and item I returned, which I did. Then they requested the tracking number of the return, you know, the same tracking number that appears on the shipping label AND on the full page of information I was required to place INSIDE the return package. I won't speak to the product simply because they didn't work for me and I knew that in less than a minute wearing them in my home. However, the company and their policies are clearly designed to frustrate you into giving up an taking the discount and keeping them even if you can't/won't use them. Not a good company and certainly not easy to deal with in spite of the sugary emails about how they're here to help and understand completely. Even though I knew within minutes of receiving these that they were not for me, it took more than 45-days for me to receive the refund, and I had to chase it all over or my guess is, I still wouldn't have it. Do better or admit you're a crappy company with questionable ethics and morals so people can decide if they really want to do business with you.
Beware!!!! I placed my order and received a fake tracking number. Called customer service and they reshipped them. Received the shoes and they are horrible. Cheaply made. Feels like you are walking on concrete, no support at all and my feet hurt worse than before. Called to get my money back and they only offer a 50% discount. If I want a full refund, I have to pay to return them. Never again! Stick with Hoka's!!
I purchased a pair thinking they would be good for spin class. They aren't. The soles are way too thin. They are fine for just short errands though. The negative part comes where they offered a "bonus" pair of shoes for a greatly reduced rate. I said sure. My credit card was charged, but the second pair never arrived. I tried to dispute it with them through paypal and they gave the shipping number for the first pair, saying they had been shipped. VERY frustrated and disappointed in their service. I will be taking this up with my credit card company.
The sole began to separate after about 5 days of mostly indoor wear. I also noticed they were being sold at Walmart for about 85% less (which they denied knowledge of). The customer service rep initially offered me 30% discount to keep them, when I refused they said I could return them on my dime and they would ship me a new pair. Going back and forth they finally agreed to ship me a replacement pair after I showcased their shoddy reviews. Will see if they actually do, either way I would stay away.
ZERO STARS!!! Adam claims it's all a misunderstanding... What a crock!!! Paid for GROUNDED SHOES ( RUN FROM THIS COMPANY)STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER. GAVE A FICTITIOUS TRACKING NUMBER ( USPS, THEY HAVE NO RECORD)! " I am personally going to the warehouse and check on your order" 😂😂😂 !Folks!!! Run from Adam and his grounded shoe company!!! HE IS A SCAM!!!!
This company uses a service that automatically provides your address. Trouble is, you can correct that address when you place an order but you cannot find what platform is supplying that information to the seller so that you can fix it more permanently. I have run into this before and think I am addressing the issue approriately. However, my order was sent to an address I haven’t used in YEARS and I have no proof that I did/didn’t correct the ship-to address. It’s frustrating and irritating to lose money on a purchase because a company relies on a service to which you have no access. It seems they bear some responsibility here and of course they claim the order was delivered. Yes, to an incorrect address. In another state.
I bought a pair of these. I really loved them at first. Less than 60 days later they are falling apart at the toe area where cloth and rubber come together . In fact there are holes. I contacted them and they said because I had worn them they couldn't take them back. Offered me a small percentage off a new pair. Why would I buy another pair of black ones when they don't stand behind their products. They offered 15% refund.... I am out alot more. I wouldn't recommend any company who doesn't stand behind their products.
Their 30 day complete satisfaction guaranty is total BS! Read the fine print!! The item can only be returned if unused, unopened and in original packaging. How the hell do you try them to see if they fit or are as comfortable as advertised?!?! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
