Love these shoes. They are so easy to put on and take off. I love to wear them in my home. By the way if they get stained just put them in the washer (I took out the sole inserts first) and they will come out looking new.My friend in assisted living loves them. Even her physical therapist approved of them.
The sizing chart is way off. I usually wear a 9. Their chart said to order a 6. It was way too small. But, then I was out shipping costs. They kept trying to offer me a discount to keep them. Why would I keep shoes that don't fit? It was a waste of time...and money; particularly when I also saw them on Amazon for much less.
Comfortable, lightweight, easy on and off. Reduced nighttime foot cramping. 100%I was really not believing this, so wore my regular support shoes the next day. Well, I had foot cramping that night. The next day I wore my grounded shoes. That night—no foot cramping! It’s not scientific, but really got my attention. Also. I’m not really comfortable walking barefoot
I waited for three weeks to use my new Grounded Footwear shoes before writing this review. I can safely say that for the first time in 3 years I can leave my shoes on at work all day without massive foot pain! I am a K-2 custodian and I get a lot of frequent feet miles on hard, concrete floors. Prior to my purchase of Grounded Footwear, I would spend 3/4 of my day in my socks because my feet couldn't take the constant pain from my regular gym shoes. I love them but I do have some concerns about longevity of the product as the only thing I don't like is how thin the material is and I am afraid my big toes are going to break through the top of the shoes. I would also add that I hope Brian and team develop a warmer winter version of this wonderful product. Iowa has very old winters and the shoes are not made for warmth. I will keep checking this site to see if there are new products available. I highly recommend Grounded Footwear to anyone who has a job as rough on their feet as mine!
Purchasing from Grounded was very easy and delivery was very fast. My wife had been looking at them for awhile and we finally gave it a try. She loves them. She had a stroke over a year ago and has an issue walking. She tends to shuffle her feet and with normal sneakers, she always felt like she was going to trip. With these, she’s like a new person. She’s walking more and being more independent. I’d highly recommend these to everyone. We are happy!
I was expecting and even thinner sole, but I am getting used to them and haven't worn my tennis shoes since I bought these!If you want "true" barefoot shoes, then authentic hand-made Indian moccasins (with the soft leather sole) are the way to go, however these barefoot shoes are very practical around the house and around town (I do not jog, run or hike)I highly recommend! I bought two pair!
