I recently had a hair transplant at the Hair Growth Centre in Romford, Dr. Vishal and his team were outstanding throughout. This was my second time around; I was so happy with the results of getting the front done (2700 grafts) in Sep 23, I went back in Jan 25 to get the crown and part of mid scalp done (2400 grafts). Funnely enough, I had the same 2 technicians as when i had my first HT! Honestly, this the best thing I've done in a long time.On the day of the procedure, Dr. Vishal and his team were professional and skilled. The clinic was clean, and the procedure was done with great care. Dr. Vishal made sure I was comfortable throughout.The results on the front have been incredible! My hairline looks natural, and the density is better than I expected. I'm at the shock loss stage for the crown, and so excited for the 4- 6 month point when it all starts growing back (its a bit slower for the crown). The aftercare has been great, with regular follow-ups and helpful instructions.If you’re considering a hair transplant or dealing with hair loss, I highly recommend the Hair Growth Centre in Romford and Dr. Vishal and the brilliant technicians. Went for a hair transplant didn’t have the hairline moved to where I wanted it, they shaved my head back and just put the grafts over the existing places where I have hair, very disappointed. The corners were partially empty they were filled in but definately not the result I had hoped for, regret using these guys would recommend using someone abroad as the clinic seems to be run by one main doctor who was generally a nice guy but the surgery is carried out by these new young apprentices, I picked this doctor as he had a very good reputation had I have done research and new he wasn’t actually involved in the surgery then I wouldn’t have gone ahead, aftercare isn’t great, hard to get a response from them they just move on to new patients by the look of it, so once you’ve paid and the procedure is done and you walk out your basically on your own, havnt had a phone call to discuss progress through aftercare, biggest regret doing the transplant with this company my advice is avoid and pay the extra for a professional service. They use pressure selling tactics to get you to leave a deposit, if you have left one I’d recommend taking the loss and taking your business elsewhere. I suffer from eczema and psoriasis and I highlighted this to the salesman he gave me confidence that the doctor on the day will make the right decision whether to go ahead. After asking 3 people at the clinic they kind of just brushed me off with ‘yeah should be fine’ again there’s no feeling that the patients are cared. My head constantly kept bleeding and the doctor said it’s very inflamed and could push the grafts out with the bleeding I appreciated his honesty but what an absolute waste of pain and time, surely they should have a duty of being transparent with patients with skin conditions. Overall, unprofessional, once they have your money they don’t really care. Don’t fall for the trap and avoid.
I highly recommend Hair Growth Centre (HGC). I had 3000 grafts in the Romford clinic. It was a fantastic experience from my initial consultation to the surgery and aftercare. Dr Vishal Nayak and his team in the Romford clinic are remarkable. There were other people having transplants on the same day but they made the whole day feel personal to me and the results I wanted to achieve. Please don't be put off by the entrance to the clinic. As soon as you reach the top of the stairs you arrive at the reception area where you are welcomed and put at ease by the friendly staff. The clinic is bright and clean. Anju and Hajara looked after me all day, keeping me informed of each step of the transplant they were doing and ensuring I was ok and comfortable.Having a hair transplant is a huge decision so I did months of research and had consultations with 6 companies before choosing HGC. I definitely made the right choice; I haven't stopped smiling since the day I had the surgery.
I decided after to speaking to my partner I’d have a hair transplant’ my hair was very good but only needed a fine tweeting at the front as it was slightly reseeding (nothing major) I booked a consultation’ I went along to it ‘ I so Dr Rafiq who was a very well spoken man who showed me his hair and explained the procedure that he had had and it looked amazing! I explained to him I had to keep most of my hair ‘ he told me that he would shave a 30mm patch from the back of my head and I was completely comfortable with what he offered so we agreed a deal of £2000 ‘ he asked for £1000 deposit and I was booked in for the 7th of January’ just after the payment was taken he rechecked his diary and told me that date was unavailable and it would have to be the 14th of January’ I said I couldn’t make it on that date ‘ he then said it would be February before HGC could perform the surgery’ he then said I’d be done by 12.00 if I’d make the 14th of January appointment which I made a phone call and rearranged my business! As it was such an easy procedure he had assured me and I was confident & convinced that I was going to be aesthetically acceptable to go into meetings without feeling out of place. WELL .. on the morning of the procedure I’d signed in at 8.00 am ! along with 8 other patients on this day ! The place was so busy nobody actually knew who the patients were or if they were in for a days training or hired help ! I then was asked for my blood pressure which read fine as it always does ‘ I was told it’s a bit low .. you’ll have to wait .. we’ll wait I did .. 3 more tests and some more staff rolled in and guess what I was fit to get things done! It’s now 10.00am ! I’m called in to see Dr Munir ! Not the man I’d had a consultation with! This man talked so fast I was unable to understand what he was talking about’ he performed like a clown in his office in front of myself & my partner! I asked on several occasions to slow down on his speech as I wanted to understand him and why he was doing the procedure and not Dr Rafiq’ he actually bent over backwards to me and slapped himself on the top of his head and said hopefully you’re going to get better results than me !!! I was some what alarmed at his actions and asked him what was going on ‘ he then spoke over me around and drew in red pen marker the doner area which was 3/4 of my head ! And then called in a Chinese woman who couldn’t understand a word of English language’ I was took and pushed to the shaving room which then my partner said stop this immediately it’s not what was agreed and asked what was happening ‘ the Chinese women then went to find Dr Munir our concerns were dismissed by him and very gingerly proceeded to shave my hair ‘ my partner then broke down in tears in what was happening.. I looked like sloth from goonies .. I hope I can attach pictures of the ordeal at the end of this review 🙏.. ! Then I was face down on the operating bed ‘ I was attacked with endless needles to numb my doner area but this went on and on and on .. I was actually biting the side of the bed in severe pain ‘ for one second I looked up and there was no sign of Dr Munir ! I just thought I’m in now .. it’s grim ‘ it’s butcherism’ I was thinking I can’t go back they have me ! They then proceeded to remove the folicoles in my forehead ‘ next thing he’s gone again! Leaving hired help to finish the procedure’ i then got up and looked in the mirror and truly looked like I’d been butchered!! I was bleeding from every angle of my head ! I walked out into reception and met 2 lads from Newcastle who said to me ‘ what the hell has happened to you ‘ what have we done ! We’ve all been had here ! I wish I’d of had there contact details right now !! It was now 5.30pm and shewed out of the doors bleeding and sore and sad from the pain and experience and my partner wanting answers off them .. I’m now 3 months on with a failed hair transplant’ i wish to god I’d never had it done ! It’s a con ! This company needs closing down! Thanks to Dr Vishal Nayak and his team at the Romford branch.They made my procedure as comfortable as possible and talked me through everything they was doing.It really helped and the facilities were spotless.I would recommend them if you were thinking of having a hair transplant
Awful service, they don't tell you the deposit amount until you get there, then they ask for £1000 deposit!!Wrist of it is I have a doctor's appointment which I am unable to attend the surgery, they have then told me they cannot reschedule my appointment and as a result they are refusing to refund me my money. I haven't agreed to any terms and conditions and luckily I have paid using a credit card so I'll be getting them to refund me under my credit card protection laws. But be careful anyone using this service, because if you fall ill it will cost you £1000.Very unreasonable dodgy business!!! Strongly not recommend
Had my hair transplant end of December & I’m so happy with everything hair look great !!!From 1st consultation to after care Nothing but 5 star Rajesh has been so helpful he is on phone anytime you have any questions/queries & has the best advise Really does put your mind at ease Doctors & nurses were very professional Aftercare is next level 5 star !! Dr Vishal Nayak and his team at the hair growth centre in Romford were excellent! Right from the consultation call to the day of the surgery, they were professional, made me feel very comfortable on the day. Dr Nayak and his team were very helpful explaining everything from hair treatment to aftercare. I would 100% recommend!
