Right from the start, the team were very supportive and never pushy. Always on hand for any questions i might have had in the lead up to the surgery, which put me at ease. The day of the surgery was a breeze, allowed me regular breaks and even provided me with lunch which was a bonus. We were done ahead of schedule and the team provided a thorough aftercare discussion and provided the vital bits that i needed.I’m very pleased with the service i received.
I recently underwent a hair transplant at HGC Manchester, and I wanted to share my experience. The primary reason I chose this clinic was the reassurance that, should any complications arise, I would be able to return to them for support.During my initial consultation, I met with a doctor who assessed my hair follicles and confirmed that I was a suitable candidate for a transplant. I was informed that I could expect around 2,500 to 4,000 grafts to address my baldness and was also offered PRP (Platelet-rich Plasma) injections. On the day of the procedure, I was attended by Dr. Haider Gillani, who explained the process thoroughly. However, I was disappointed to learn that the coverage would only be for the front area of my head and not the crown, contrary to the full coverage I was promised during my initial appointment. Dr. Gillani also recommended GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate) instead of the PRP plasma I had opted for but when I have asked for some documentation I have not been offered any. Also I had to pay a difference for the GFC still haven't got an invoice for that either. While I found the staff to be very professional throughout the process, my main issue lies with the discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered. After the procedure, I was asked to send pictures via WhatsApp about a week later, and they confirmed that everything looked good. While the area where I received the transplant looks great, I still have a bald patch at the top of my head, which leaves me feeling unsatisfied. Overall, I’m left feeling disappointed with my experience, particularly as I’m hesitant to go through the entire process again to address the remaining baldness. I hope this feedback helps others in their decision-making process.
Dr Munir totally unprofessional and they scam you after an emotional and difficult transplant to do a GFC. I had to pay £1270 on the spot for three treatments of GFC, refusing to refund and send you from pillar to post. Waste of money and very upsetting experience all round. Stay away, don’t get duped into their discounted prices. Absolutely the worst thing I ever did, going to this Manchester clinic. Biggest regret because it was unpleasant and traumatic but worse still is Dr Munir, he’s a very shady character.
My reviews keep getting taken down. These people in Manchester are extortionists. They are scamming people and we are now involving lawyers and going to court because they take advantage of people during and straight after surgery while patients are physically and emotionally vulnerable. Stay far away from these sick people, please.
Had a hair transplant back in October and although I hesitated at the start due to reading some poor reviews Mohammed at the Birmingham clinic was really reassuring and proved trustworthy, I’m 6 months in roughly now and with the full results expected around 12/18 months it’s looking promising, having had my experience so far I would recommend definitely.
