I have been a member for nearly 50 years! I use all the services of hospital, dental, physio, chiro, dietician and optical. The service is always friendly and professional, the premises clean and well organised and the costs and benefits are good.
Have only been with Health Partners for a couple of years after having been with AHM for many years. I had a triple bypass operation late last year and, after phoning HP was advised to make sure to ask for a quote from my cardiac surgeon and anaesthetist. I did this and arranged for them to do the surgery in the Wesley hospital in Brisbane. Both agreed to do it on a "no gap" basis for which I am eternally grateful. I was not prepared for the huge "out of pocket" expenses for pathology and scans/ x-rays. I was left to pay in excess of $2,000 which was extremely difficult as I am on a disability pension. HP should definitely advise clients of these costs in advance.
They have always been great to deal with but their handling of covid-19 has been amazing.First they froze their previously communicated 10% fee increase, then they sent clear communications about covering all covid related illnesses without exception, and then they reduced fees by 10%.A well managed business with a heart.
So happy with this health insurance. They treat you like a person, not just a number. They have gone out of their way to help us and we will be with them for life. We found them on CHOICE and they had great scores and everything we read which made us go with them, they have outshone. Best health insurance we have had.
