Have been a Health Partners member since before it was Health Partners, when membership and services were only available to government employees, yes a long time.I had the misfortune of chipping a tooth today, and as my usual private dentist was on holidays, I made an appointment at the Pirie St branch in the cityAs even basic covid safety measures have now been dropped by short sighted governments, state and federal, I did expect to possibly see other patients not wearing face masks, as it turned out though, there were two other patients there when I arrived, both wearing masks, later arrivals were not. What shocked me the most though was that no staff members at all were masked, not even the dentist and assistant.Covid is not over and I would not expect to be in a position of possibly catching it in a so called health care environment.When I questioned the dentist about this, he matter of fact stated it is no longer mandated, this view is highly unsatisfactory, even prior to covid I have never had an experience where dentists and their assistants were unmasked when treating patients.In this case I insisted that they mask up.When I initially rang to make the appointment, I asked what the current covid safety protocols are, the customer service person stated that all patients are screened over the phone and on arrival for covid or like symptoms and that masks are encouraged but cannot be enforced.There was no indication that staff were encouraging patients to wear masks or any physical signs present to inform them of this either, not a good look if masks were indeed encouraged (which I highly doubt from my observations!) when Health Partners staff blissfully ignored doing it themselves! I have no issue with the dental treatment provided or with the staff generally but this stance has obviously come from management and it's not good enough in a so called health setting where vulnerable at risk people are potentially exposed to covid and other possible diseases
Had a total knee replacement and it has been a seemless experience with Health Partners. Haven't had to chase anything just all done with no effort. Heath Partners after surgery arranged My heath navigator which was amazing. The support from them has been a God sent. Thank you for all your support 🙏
A very good health fund however well overdue for a convenient dental clinic to service members in the eastern & hills regions. They have an optical centre at Hyde Park however no dental clinic. This would be an ideal dental clinic location to service these regions. A hassle to head to the city just for a medical appointment and a ‘water bag’ trip to head to Morphett Vale in the Deep South. I have raised this important issue with Health Partners management on several occasions however it just keeps falling on deaf ears !
Brilliant. Always wonderful customer service. When using your health insurance, it's not uncommon to be in quite a vulnerable state and Health Partners have consistently gone out of their way to help us in our times of need. Customers for life.
