Review Time
I have recently had treatment for prostate cancer (on-going) followed by a craniotomy and so saw a lot of my doctors and hospital. It is a pity that there is not some way that Health Partners can be advised when a member is heading to hospital rather than finding out only once the claims come in as the it is a scary time and a lot going on where sound advice is needed if one is to take advantage of the full range of great services they provide. I was heading to a rehab program requiring a minimum of 7 days with a focus on getting out of bed, dressing, etc which I did not need, until i called HP and discovered the Hospital-at-Home service. I cannot speak highly enough about that service and the provider, Your Health Negotiator. It sets HP apart.
Hygienist Simona Gatej at health partners, Adelaide and Morphett Vale, is a lady that is caring and genuinely cares about you and the health of your teeth. I give high regards to the professional service she gives and is also very relatable. Highly recommended.
Recently I needed a shoulder replacement. I was contacted by Health partners to see what I needed for rehab. The Fund put me in contact with a rehab provider who visited me in hospital & I was given a shower chair & a carer to help me shower & get dressed every day until I could manage myself.I was very grateful for the assistance which was offered to me without my initiation.
I am a Health Partners patient and I have Health Partners insurance. The central phone system (good luck finding any direct numbers) is impossibly long and inefficient. I've called with basic questions and sat on the line for 20 minutes only to be transferred and wait again. Completely frustrating and very poor customer service.
I took up Family cover with HP after being with another health fund for over 15 years. Our fees were just about the same but limits of cover were better with limits for Physiotherapy just one of the better levels my children have been able to use. Whenever requiring information or clarification on policy matters HP have always been able to answer questions promptly and no question is any trouble to them. In short, we have been very happy with changing over to HP and thoroughly recommend them as a Health Insurance provider. Well Done HP!
I went to your office today in Morphett Vale and needed to talk to some body about my insurance, the girl from the dental told me that there was no one in the office for that today and when I told her the reason she called the office spoke to some one and dealt with my problem. It could not have been a better customer service if she had tried, I'm sorry that I can't remember her name!
