The cuff is ok, but the initialization process for the bracelet is a nightmare. Rub your wrist? Go for a walk?Seriously.I want to kill myself. And I regret the spend of £200 on this. No, this is not an April fools'. I cannot say the same about that device.
After ordering and receiving the Aktiia I couldn't use it because the larger strap was too small. I asked if they could supply a larger wrist band to which they couldn't to fit my wrist and couldn't recommend anyone who could. Waste of time.
I’ve had mine over a month now. Brilliant! Took a few minutes to set up but was straight forward. Much easier than having to record my blood pressure readings 4 times a day. Has reassured me that my BP is not always high and I can report back to heart specialist easily. Very satisfied
My Aktiia stopped working completely on 12/3I have emailed repeatedly It takes days for a reply and the response is non specific and unhelpful - pasting info that is already on the website. Customer service is honestly absolutely awful
I so wanted to give this a good review as it promises so much. But unless you spend your life laying or sitting around doing nothing, then this isn't the device for you. In fact, don't even do nothing, don't even sleep, because no matter what you do or don't do, this bracelet will continuously fail to do what it is supposed to do, and that is take regular blood pressure readings. It. Just. Doesnt. Do. It. Hour upon hour, day after day of missed readings. And just excuse after excuse after excuse from the customer support. The bracelet isn't on right, you're moving, you're cold, the bracelet moved, you're tachycardic, bradycardic.Anything other than any slightest possibility that the bracelet might not quite be as good as they think it is. Save your money!
