Continuous blood pressure monitoring

It is great to be able to check your blood pressure continuously. Though the app only gives you a reading every 2 hours and the download every hour.However disappointed that you have to use the cuff if you want an immediate blood pressure reading. We bought this as we thought you would be able to do this via the bracelet.

Accuracy poor

Unfortunately I found the results with the wrist band to be over 30% inaccurate so not great I'm afraid. Thank goodness I checked can't believe it's been tested properly

Aktiia is amazing

Aktiia is amazing, the only way to keep a 24 hour a day track of your blood pressure, which gives me reassurance. I have a pacemaker so was aware it might not be suitable according to the Aktiia information, however I decided to give it a go. I check it against my Orman upper arm cuff machine to validate my readings now & again & Aktiia is accurate every time. I have used the downloadable reading to pass on to my GP for my annual heart health review. My only disappointment is that it’s not waterproof.

While the whole thing is undoubtedly clever, my readings are not always what they should be. Night readings are affected by being a person who sleeps on their front and lies on top of their arms.
