Top quality hiring experience from start to finish/drop off!!! Over the phone staff were super helpful and offered very clear info and guidance around insurance policies and hire payments.... I was blown away by the affordable rates for hiring a moving van and then when I needed a bit of extra time, again the customer service team fielded calmly and warmly my myriad of questions around costs and extra time and drop off info!!! Medals for them!!!! Returning the vehicle to friendly welcoming staff is such a great way to end the day, thank you hireace team!!! To top everything off my held security $$ deposit was released straight back into my account once vehicle was returned-no hassles whatsoever!!! Clean well kept vehicle and amazing staff both in person and over the phones and affordable as rates-what's not to like, right?!!!!
The truck that we'd hired was not fit for purpose and broke down again and again! Repaired but with no assurance it would keep going - it broke down again! The manual DPF filter purge mode wasn't working. A 2 day trip took 4 days. Waited on the side of the road for 2 hours, limped on to where it was safer, and waited another 3 1/2 hours before another truck was brought. Our first truck was 18 years old, beaten up. The second truck was 2 years younger and looked worse than the first truck! The hand brake sleeve prevented the lever being used. Had to be removed. This was an absolute nightmare and also cost 2 nights in motels because of breakdowns. On top of that the helpline people clearly weren't keen to help. Do not use this company!
I hired a truck from your company and was asked to make payment, which I did. However, I was only informed of your policy after the transaction was completed. This is not appropriate, as customers should be given full access to all policies before making a payment so they can make an informed decision.For comparison, another company, Handy Rentals, clearly provides their policies before payment, which I believe is the correct and fair approach. Receiving your policy only after I had already paid was disappointing and unacceptable.I believe this matter should be addressed, as transparency before payment is essential for customer trust and fairness.
