Working with Amy Vinn was a great experience. I am not artistic and it was a case of having a vague idea of what I wanted that I had to explain to Amy who then breathed life into my ramblings! After that she kept me informed of progress and checked at every stage that I was happy with what she and the goldsmith were producing. The result was in the response of my wife on our 40th wedding anniversary. She was delighted and took the time to go and thank Amy personally for all her work.
I purchased an immaculate, custom-made engagement ring from H&K. It might've been a bit pricier than something mass-produced, but the quality was definitely worth it. Highly recommended for something as significant as an engagement :)

Having had my antique but badly damaged engagement ring reimagined, I decided to have my now too tight wedding ring remade to fit snuggly with it. Alec spent a long time helping me look at the various options and designs. His beautiful design drawings helped me visualise the finished product very well, and I am delighted with the results. She had seen the designs and was so excited for us. We know she would have been absolutely blown away by the final creations, just as we were. We had a fantastic experience with Francesca and Alice at Harriet Kelsall. My fiancé and I decided that we wanted to design our engagement ring together and came up with some ideas from the HK website. We had a great design session where we went through each detail of what we wanted - Francesca was so helpful through each decision and put together a beautiful drawing for the design as we talked. The final ring has everything we wanted - we feel very lucky to have been able to incorporate everything we'd pictured, working with different options to stay within our budget.
