Review Time
I was going to rent a property in a city centre. The photos showed a property with large gardens and countryside views. I looked on the map and cross checked with Google maps and the alleged property location is actually a car park! There is no way that property is located there. So fake. *I have since completed a reverse Google image search of the house and found the property that the images belong to. It’s in the countryside and I contactedthe owners, who do not rent via HomeToGo and the images have been stolen.
I booked a house on Oregon coast and got confirmation email. They ran a $1 temp. charge on my card. I checked a couple days later and they had cancelled my reservation! I booked again, got confirmation email, got $1 temp. charge and then the next day it is marked at cancelled on their website! I email them for explanation and get auto-response that they are very busy and it could be awhile. I switched to VRBO and booked the same house and I have been charged the proper amount and it is still booked 2 days later. Imagine that :-)
Good to know I was about to book a flat for my holidays for 3 weeks. but thought let me check the trust pilot reviews. I’m disappointed by reading the frustrations of folk, what they been through. Thanks for saving me for that🙏
