Contrary to other reviews, my stay at a hotel in Spain was incredibly positive. I appreciated everything, from the friendly reception to the cleanliness of the room, the available underground parking (paid), and the unlimited coffee or tea available around the clock. I would happily return for another visit.
The room met basic standards, and although there was a notice stating that towels wouldn't be changed daily, they were replaced, and the beds were tidied. However, the beds were made over our pajamas, which seemed pointless. We misplaced a white baby towel with a hood, and despite searching, it was never found, nor was any compensation provided. We were advised against storing it in the cupboard, but it was there when it went missing. It felt like a staff member may have taken it. The breakfast at the restaurant was decent, but other meals, like the pizza and pasta, were simply not edible.

My stay at the hotel began poorly with check-in. I had paid the full amount online, including taxes and fees, but the reception insisted I pay the tax again before checking in. Even after showing my receipt, they wouldn't let me in and suggested I call for a refund. It wasn't a large amount, but it was frustrating, and I ended up paying again to access my room after a long journey with my elderly parents. The hotel looked appealing from the outside, but once inside, the quality felt cheap. The room was dark, and the amenities were low quality. The online photos suggested otherwise, and many reviews were overly positive. I wouldn't recommend it for a nice holiday, but it might be acceptable for a budget stay or quick stopover.
I stayed at the hotel for one night in October. We had two reservations, one under one name and the other under a different name. Upon arrival, we found that one reservation had been booked for the wrong date. Since the hotel was fully booked, we had to stay in one triple room. I requested a refund through the booking platform, but it was denied. This was an honest mistake, and since we were from abroad, rescheduling was not an option. We were very disappointed with how the hotel handled the situation.
I stayed at this hotel recently, and my experience was marred by the receptionist's behavior. He left the reception unattended while guests waited, forcing me to check in via a self-service machine after a long wait. When I had an issue with my room placement, I waited again in line only to be dismissed until others were served. I lost over an hour due to this negligence. Even after extending my stay and paying for it, someone tried to enter my room while I was resting, despite the 'Do Not Disturb' sign being displayed. The receptionist provided contradictory explanations and was dismissive when I raised my concerns. I expected professionalism given the price I paid, but instead faced rudeness and a lack of respect.
A new hotel in the area, this was the best stay we've had in over 30 years of traveling to similar establishments in the region. The staff were exceptional, especially in accommodating my wife's needs due to her disability. The hotel is conveniently located near a fast-food outlet and a retail area. The rooms were well-lit, spacious with a decent-sized TV, and everything functioned perfectly.
There was no food available, and we were not allowed to bring in a pizza while purchasing drinks from their bar. We ended up spending a significant amount on food and drinks from a nearby hotel instead. Additionally, the TVs in the rooms were non-functional, and the overall service was lacking.
Upon arrival, I was assigned a room on an upper floor with no lift available, which was problematic due to my knee issues. I requested to change rooms but was denied. We left shortly after, and the lift was fixed the day after our departure. The staff did not engage with us, so I can't comment on their demeanor. Breakfast was basic, and the decor was unappealing. Amenities like tea or coffee facilities were absent, and the room safe relied on a password written on paper. This hotel does not deserve its claimed rating.
