I found it very easy to order a box of chocolates for next day delivery to a friend. It was delivered to her office, and she received them happily. I used my VIP welcome discount of 15% which was great. I am very pleased with my purchase, and if you wish to spoil someone special, I highly recommend Hotel chocolate for quality, choice and service.
Great chocolates - probably the best on the market. The delivery is a little on the slow side unless you pay an uplift for next day - but, for me at least, they use the super reliable Royal Mail service, if you order through their website. The last time I bought via Amazon, I received an inedible molten mush, as they were left on the doorstep at the height of summer.
I can’t comment on the chocolate as it was delivered by Amazon shipping to our neighbours address and has gone missing. This is despite me adding delivery instructions specifically stating not to deliver to our neighbours as post has gone missing from their post box before. Appreciate someone contacting me for a refund
The recent change to packaging means that I pay 10% more and have more waste packaging to dispose of. Also the change meant that 60% of what was in the original recurring order was delivered meaning that I’ll probably need to reorder and pay extra delivery costs, or buy elsewhere.
Ordering chocolates for a special birthday was easy enough, and the delivery driver polite and courteous I’m thinking the product will it’s usual excellent quality, but as it’s for a birthday so unfortunately I won’t be eating themThank you
The product as usual was excellent. As with many other reviewers, the problem is with the Amazon delivery service. A previous order was left on doorstep in rain, despite me being home (they didn't ring bell) and despite me having a parcel box a few steps away. This latest order, Amazon sent me several emails over several days saying it was delayed, wouldn't be delivered on the correct anniversary day, when in actual fact it was delivered on right day. So I had a lot of stress for nothing. This has happened before with Amazon delivery. I will be considering other chocolate companies in future just because of Amazon delivery.
