The delivery information sent to me was for a totally different parcel in a totally different location, which was rather worrying. I assume my information was sent to someone else which must have been worrying for them too. Get it right of why bother?
Love Hotel Chocolat but the change to using Amazon delivery service is resulting in me cancelling my subscription. I got a notification, when I was out of town, that my parcel had been left on my doorstep. Luckily my neighbour knew I wasn’t there and happened to see the parcel get dropped off, otherwise I doubt it would have still been there when I got home. I’m disappointed as I’ve had my subscription for a couple of years and cancelling it as we head towards winter, when hot chocolate is most appreciated, is annoying.
Excellent service..High class gift wrap.Arrived quickly, before I expected. Don’t know about the chocolates yet as Birthday present for my daughter, but I am sure they will be of a high standard too.Look forward to ordering for Christmas Gold star for Hotel ChocolatSheila
I have not been happy with the delivery experiences over the last few months since it switched over to courier companies. This month, with Amazon, it took 4 working days to arrive after despatch and I didn't receive any delivery date information. It was similar with DHL and another carrier at different times. With Royal Mail, the delivery always came on day advised and I knew the approximate time because it is the normal Royal Mail delivery time.
Chocolates absolutely delicious as ever but delivery, not so! I chose to send them as a gift in the knowledge that they would fit through the letterbox as the recipient would be out at work during the day. For some reason they were left in a recycling bin and not discovered for over 24 hours by which time the outer packaging was wet. Why?
