Review Time
Dreadful experience today. Engineer visited to repair washing machine that is only six months old and still under guarantee. Wouldn't even look at it as he wanted to see the receipt. I had popped out and left my husband to sort out. We had not been told anything about a receipt. Spent an hour on the telephone and advised that I should not have been asked for receipt, now have to wait another four days for a repair.Thanks for the reply, have you tried to contact your company?
My first Hotpoint freezer set off fire then Hotpoint/Whirepool replaced me a frost free freezer, only had it over 4 years, it broke down! Called the repair centre, the guy over the phone offered me two expensive plans prior to the visit, so I refused the offer and he quickly change his tone, and made it out that i have wasted his time calling the repair centre. End up I found a local fridge/freezer repair company, the guy came and found there was a fault with the circuit board, he then went online to check if he can get hold of the parts and to find out that Hotpoint has actually discontinued the parts, we were both shocked because the freezer was only 4 years old!!!Terrible experience with Hotpoint freezer again and again! Extremely Horrible and disgusting customer service!!!
