Exactly the same experience. Hutly took over ADL Forms and began charging my agency for a service we never agreed to sign up for. I emailed clearly stating we do not want the service and do not agree to be charged. No reply, no explanation — but the charging attempts kept occurring until the funds were taken. I am reporting this as fraud to NSW Fair Trading after this post.

Edit - several days after the attempt to take funds from our account with no approval, Hutly has now fraudulently taken funds from our account in the very early hours of the morning. They were advised several times that we did not wish to go ahead with the migration of ADL forms to Hutly, and were explicitly told that they were to not take funds from our account. --------------Hutly attempted to take a significant sum from our account in the very early hours of the morning with absolutely no notice. The sum was not agreed to and in their correspondence they have advised that "all customers were switched over" and "it isn't a new subscription but a revised invoice". So far, Hutly have been unable to provide user agreements or terms and conditions which state they can unilaterally increase the price without agreement. This is flirting with fraudulent behaviour. We now have no access to a system we paid 12mths access to (after four months) unless we pay further funds, which from my understanding violates consumer guarantees as a contract was formed when those 12 mths were paid for.
Absolutely terrible. The ADL application was pretty good, but since Hutly took over and made an absolute atrocious attempt at a web application it’s been a nightmare. Their accounts seem to make continuous mistakes in billing and removing incorrect amounts of money from my account. I’ve received incorrect invoices and incorrect debits of over $1100. They can’t even get my renewal dates right. It would be laughable if it wasn’t for the money involved. I informed them I didn’t want to sign up and they took the money anyway… I had tried to remove old payment method from the account but couldn’t, they then stole nearly twice the amount they forecast!! Can’t be trusted to provide a good service . Now Trying to get money back for a service I did not sign up too . Seems like theft to me.-----Update:The founder Jeremy has replied to this thread. Apologising. Seems he can reply to a public Trustpilot thread, but neither he nor his Support Team can reply to the numerous emails I have sent them over the last two days, with no Clear explanation as to why they took $1100 from my account when my subscription was not due, apparently the new subscription should be $670 yet they took $1100, or why I have received two other emails with an invoice asking for a further $1400. SCAM!! I wonder how many other people they took $1,000's of $$ from and have it all in their account earning interest, while we have to chase them and banks spending hours trying to get the money back, and likely with no chance compensation for the lost working hours spent trying to repair damage caused by their mistakes !!
My Real estate business has been using ADL forms for many years. We recently shifted to the online system owned by Hutly and it has by far been the worst business decision I have ever made. The system is the SLOWEST software i have used. Doesnt load the forms, the titles of the forms are wrong and best of all you cant talk to someone in support. It just rings out. Please dont make the same mistake i did. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Not sure how this company position's themselves as a technology company, more likely a scam company. Dont answer their phone for support or respond to emails. I and my team have been an ADL user for years and their online system is an absolute disaster! The contracts they provide are definitely not legitimate, spelling errors and missing information everywhere on their QLD forms.
This company transitioned to an online platform long before it was ready. As a long-time 15-year user of their previous software, I was excited to see the changes. How wrong could I have been? It's a disaster - nothing works properly. The forms are incorrect for our state, make a mistake and you have to start all over again. The mechanism for form completion is clunky and doesn't necessarily line up with the form itself. Support has been woeful because they are so swamped. After persevering for four months, we had no choice but to look for alternatives. They will not refund DO NOT USE!
They keep smssing me and I am NOT a renter, I am NOT a man and I do NOT live in Victoria ! Despite me telepohing their office in Brisbane and telling them, they continue to send me harrassing texts. Sloppy and unprofessional
I had originally thought this company was good but I'm wrong, they don't take payments off the rented amount and expect you pay in full within a couple of months,we've been sent to a debt collector and haven't even finished a 6mth lease on our home yet but not only that they charge more then what the rented amount was.its not great
