bloody joke

just recieved a parking fine parked in a disabled bay says was not parked within designated bay markings. the photo shows i was just on the yellow line not over it on one side with no space as was a kerb the other side.i wasnt taking up a-2nd space. they must think i rode in on the last steam train. boy im gona hve fun with this.its not illegalto park on the line and i am disabled fgs so forgive me if i didnt get out-and measure the bloody space!

On 3 Aug 22 my wife and I visited St Bees in Cumbria and parked on the only available parking area I could see close to the beach. I went to the parking machine, saw that the cost for one hour was £1.50, then £2.50 for two hours, etc. As we were only there for a short visit I tried for one hour at £1.50 but the machine kept putting £2.50 on the screen. I was that annoyed at the time it was taking me to obtain a ticket so decided I would pay the £2.50, in cash. The machine refused to take cash. As there was an alternative payment method of credit card I decided that was my option and so put in my credit card. I pressed the pay button and the machine issued me with (wait for it) a ticket for £25.00. I took details of the company, together with a photograph of the machine. I have since written to the company but have not received any response. Parkers beware.

Do Not Use These Car Parks

We went to Beadnell Bay Northumberland for an afternoon at the beach. The beach car park was full so following the other car parking signs, we entered the HX Car Park. The options we had to pay for our parking were; ringing a number which just had an answer phone message and then cut off, downloading a payment app or going on the website- neither of which worked, our phones just buffered as they weren't receiving enough signal. On returning to the car after 15 frustrating minutes of trying to pay we saw another small sign which said we would incur a fine if we hadn't paid within the allotted time of 15 minutes! Consequently, we got in our car, left the car park, left Beadnell Bay never to return. What a DISGRACE this rip off parking firm are! we of course got a ticket through the post a few weeks later which we took to arbitration but lost - as HX car parks are very cunning in the way they display the parking information, they make it so difficult to pay to park, you don't notice their strategically hidden sign telling you your time is ticking down to receiving a £100 fine (£60 if you pay quickly and don't argue your case by going to arbitration). What an abhorrent firm - they should be shut down, shame on them!Also, really bad for Beadnell Bay as we could have chosen to have parked on the grass verges for free like most other visitors but didn't want to add to the congestion- is this the best they can offer for car parking? We would have spent the afternoon there and spent our money with the local businesses but will not be going back!

Do not use these car parks

Do not use these car parks. I drove in in a VW campervan and parked next to another camper. Got out to pay to find out you have to pay on a app. I had to download the app which was slow due to not a lot of Wi-Fi. Then I tried to add my vehicle and it wouldn’t take it. I tried a few times and the asked another driver who came in in a camper. By the time I gave up and and left it could have been over 10 mins but I don’t know. They make it as difficult as possible to pay and I will avoid all these in the future. Just evil people.

Don't use this lot

Biggest rip of ever arrived to park went to machine had to down load ap which I did spent next 10 mins entering details reply back was could not park this type of vehicle here entered details again same thing after 20 mins gave up and drove off now received a pcn for 100 quid reduced to 60 if I pay quickly most expensive 24 mins ever do not use these under any circumstances rip of merchants appeal process having a laugh

Absolutely disgusted with this company…

Absolutely disgusted with this company and we will fight you all the way.Recently attended a concert and parked in their almost derelict looking car park.Tried to pay using the app several times but it wouldn’t work. Had to use the machine instead but had no cash. We walked the short distance to the nearest shop to generate some cash and paid for our ticket.We received a fine from the company a few weeks later. We appealed snd had the ticket as proof but they denied our appeal because we were 9 minutes over the allotted 15 minute pay period.THE ONLY REASON WE WERE LATE IS BECAUSE THEIR APP DIDN’T WORK!!!!!!!

Got fined for parking in a free parking lot???

I use the same parking lot 3 days a week to go to the gym. While I was at the gym, my wife called, and I had to run home quickly to fix an emergency. I return 28 minutes later to finish my workout. I was sent a £100 fine because I returned in less than 30 minutes?? That doesn't even make sense. Why is that a rule?

Disabled parking Whitley BayWe went to park at Spanish City Whitley Bay. There was a white car parked across 3 disabled bays. He moved to let us park. The car was parked in a disabled bay with a Blue Badge clearly displayed.Two days later we got a notice from HX car parking demanding £60The number/website to make appeals on is inactiveThe photo displayed shows our car on a public road, re road marking shown.There was no time, date or location shown on the photoThis firm is scamming visitors to Whitley Bay, perhaps an official scam with the blessing of North Tyneside CouncilHXcar Parks are nasty people

HX Car Parking Charge Spanish City Genuine Error

Similar to a recent review I have read I visited Spanish City Restaurant with my elderly mum and family 15th July and unbeknown to us a vehicle obscured the payment machine for HX Management. We paid at the council machine (in obvious error) with proof and HX Management refused to consider our appeal! This experience has soured our visits (recent and consideration to future visits) and Spanish City would benefit from addressing this in some way
