Shame you can't leave no stars....can't swear or even mention Highway Men! Their payment system does not work. They then fine you...because Their System doesn't work. Surprise, Surprise, lost their appeal...so moved it up. £100 if you lose that. 15 minutes of trying to pay....£100 you do the maths. AVOID. Parkonomy aswell. Fitzwilliam Street Huddersfield.
Wouldn’t even give it 1 star however there was no other option. Shambles of a company , in a world pandemic , explained we’d pulled into a manual JET WASH as it clearly states on picture that’s where we’d pulled over for a matter of 4 minutes to restart car as engine management light came on , safest place to do so and not obstructing anybody or any other vehicles. Explained this over phone and email and appealed. Suprise suprise appeal didn’t get accepted as this company is all about money nothing to do with welfare and looking after people etc. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME FIGHTING YOUR APPEAL OR FINE THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN !! worst company and as for the owner of the company ( won’t name names as I actually work with one of your family members little did you know ) give it a rest. In a world pandemic give people a break. Genuine honest people who had a genuine reason for being there. Disgusting and appalling.

cowboyswe overstayed about 14% of the time, £100 fine - similar experiences it seems. any 5* review of these cowboys is likely to be fake. they have a license to print money with complicated car park machines and ANPR cameras - shame on Cartmel racecourse for contracting with these money grabbing scumbags, squeeze every penny out of tourists
In common with others on here, I can confirm what a lovely bunch of people must run this business. I forgot to buy my ticket before setting off on a walk from Cartmel racecourse, but upon realising my mistake, paid the correct fee on my return. I explained this to them, but not interested - just want £100.You'd like to think in these difficult times people would be inclined to be a little more understanding, but not this lot of miserable, mean- spirited money-grabbers.
This company are unscrupulous Cowboys making money on the slightest excuse, in Retail Car Parks by creating unreasonable 'parking contract conditions' and catching you out by use of ANPR. Don't shop using car parks this company manages; the ultimate loser will be the retailers and this company.
The most disgraceful company on earth. I’ve been fined under not truthful reason of parking more than 10 minutes in a place.I received the letter late so I was unable to appeal. Absolute scumbags people have lost jobs etc etc struggling for money an hx car park management jst bang an almighty 100 quid nr Xmas for stopping for a couple of minutes in a petrol station waiting for sumone it won't be getting this paid I think they have an absolute cheek to do this 🙄 not worrying bout it cos I'm not paying anyways jst warning other people you scumbags
As with 99% of the reviews below, I have been caught out by this unscrupulous company. I parked at Cartmel racecourse in October and paid for 3 hours parking. At the time we were struggling to get the machine to work and couldn’t see the screen very well. Eventually managed to print a ticket. Then low and behold a week later I received a parking fine. I appealed showing my ticket and the direct debit on bank statement. But my appeal was rejected as they said I only keyed in the last 4 digits of my registration number (I truly believe that I keyed in the whole of my registration number, but unfortunately there is no way to prove this and they know it). With so many people having the same problem it makes me wonder how these machines are set up. So now I am left with the choice of paying this company £60 or letting them take me to court. This is daylight robbery!! To that end I will be writing to BBC’s Rip Off Britain programme. Perhaps they can name and shame this awful company. I encourage you all to please do the same. There is strength in numbers.
