I have always scanned the item in store to make sure it attaches to the cash back offer. My most recent receipt tells me after the bar code matches in store that the item is ineligible. I don’t understand how that keeps working otherwise I have wasted my money buying something I would not have because ibotta later decides it doesn’t want to pay the offer. Ibotta has also taken away offers before the clock count down time very often . I am very disappointed in this app recently and cannot keep spending money on items I wouldn’t have bought because of the cash back.
