Such a shame that this company have let themselves down by sneakily charging a subscription fee of £39.90. I contacted them hoping they would refund me as I hadn’t realised that I would encounter this charge but they refused and said it was clearly stated on their website, funny that so many others hadn’t noticed the small print where is said that on their website, They didn’t even send you an email to advise you that the payment would be coming out of you account, this means that it could be months before some people notice that it was happening. Other than it costing me over £40 for one passport photo I found the site easy to use but unfortunately I will not be using ID photo again!!
I used this website to order a passport photo and was then charged an additional GBP39.90 a few days later. When I contacted id-photo they said that - When I finalised my order, that I agreed to the terms and conditions of their website to a 2 day trial period and then an automatic monthly subscription of GBP39.90 would be charged. It appears that the subscription consent was hidden somewhere and I was charged automatically. When I contacted their support team I received an email to say that they are refusing to issue a refund, saying that the terms were 'clearly stated'. Which is absolutely not true.This website uses deceptive tactics to con people out of additional charges.
