I absolutely love using iFit! I have been using it for a few years and it just keeps getting better! There is a workout for whatever you are looking for in just about any place you can think of. I've used iFit on the treadmill, stationary bike, and rowing machine. It is so fun to get to know the trainers and hear their stories and also hear fun, interesting facts about the places they are working out in. I really like that there is a variety of workout lengths and intensities, and I love that when using an iFit enabled machine it will adjust incline, speed, and resistance automatically! It takes away the mental load of trying to figure out what exactly to do for a workout. This is an incentivized review but the thoughts and opinions are completely my own.
iFit is such an innovative and user friendly program. It's impossible to get bored with so many thousands of exercise programs built in. Very happy with my experience so far. this was part of an incentivized review program but contains my honest opinion
Treadmill itself is fine but customer service is non-existant as you cannot get a live person on the phone. You wait for over an hour until you finally give up. So you try live chat and end up being in a chat queue only to be disconnected with a message " No agents available at this time. Try again later".I paid $160 to have a technician come out to service my treadmill. Technician arrives without any lubricant for the belt claiming Nordictrack should have sent that. Who pays for their car to be serviced but engine oil is not part of the service?Nordictrack Ifit Customer Service SUCKS.
First off they take days to respond. Second they charge a lot of money for support but do not provide it. I have had over 5 issues with the program and they haven't solved one of them. They assured me that the software would link to Garmin. That is completely false as their system will not download the files necessary to complete the task. The metrics like heart rate, watts, mileage and time for your ride or exercise are displayed on the computer screen however they disappeared one day and no-one knows how to recover them. The bike itself from Nordic works very well but the iFit software at best is a two out of ten.
I have loved my experience with iFit! I appreciate the variety of workouts depending on how I want to switch up my routine. The scenery is always amazing and when I want to learn fun facts about the different areas it's fun to listen to the coach's comments! I like that I can make so many adjustments so my husband and I can easily share the same equipment without having to change a bunch of settings every time. The quality of their machines and workouts have been great! I'm a big fan!
This is the second time iFit has pushed a software update causing me to have to restart my treadmill every time need to use it. The first time the iFit app displayed "TAP to Start" message that did nothing when you tapped to start. After doing a pin reset the issue went away for a while. Now after another update I get an error that communication with my device has failed. I have to restart my treadmill every time I try an use it. Seems that iFIT has no concept of how to test software updates.
I love the IFIT workout program. I love the variability between studio and outdoor workouts. Trainers have actual working knowledge and aren't just blowing smoke. I would recommend to get it to anyone. My only complaint is that on one of my fitness equipment (the rower) the IFIT platform doesn't track my previous workout series easily. The awesome variability and programs are getting pushed into the loading screen. Love it, but when I cant find my last workout series so I have to search it up, it bugs. just take the push product back a smidge and you're good.
This elliptical is a great addition to our home gym. It is our first cardio machine and it’s been really nice to ease us into working out again. I really think the iFit membership is so valuable because it can step up your exercise without having to change settings yourself. The guided workouts push me farther than I would push myself on my own. Plus the video locations are incredible. There are so many options and it’s cool to see lots of different fitness experts. A few critiques - I do wish there was a stair stepper mode that locked the legs in a little more and I wish there was a phone holder. The interface is simple which is nice, but I think there should be a quick screen off button rather than waiting for it to go into sleep mode on its own. Simple things that aren’t a huge deal, still very happy with our machine! Incentivized review.
This elliptical has been an awesome addition to our home gym and is actually our first cardio machine. It's been great for easing back into working out. I’ve found the iFit membership really worthwhile — it takes the guesswork out of exercising by adjusting the settings automatically and keeps me pushing harder than I would on my own. The workout locations are stunning, and it’s cool to see a variety of fitness experts leading the sessions.A couple of minor critiques: I wish there was a stair-stepper mode with more stable leg movement and a built-in phone holder. Also, it would be nice to have a quick screen-off button instead of waiting for sleep mode. But those are small things, and overall, we’re really happy with the machine! This is an incentivized review, but I genuinely recommend it.
