Avoid! Terrible course, terrible organisation

Any good reviews must be paid or AI or scam because this is the worst run education provider I have ever experienced. Terribly run, terrible learning resources, terrible support, unprofessional, disorganised, untruthful, confusing, horrible experience. Do not study through them, it is a total waste of your time and you will not learn to the level you require to be competent. They only care about money and doing as little as possible for it.

Well recommended. Deserves more than just a 5 stars rating.

I’m so happy taking my course in this institution. I enjoyed every day attending the class. Everyone's is friendly and supportive. The class is really relevant and totally engaging. Josephine Robarts will go far and beyond to help her students to learn and become successful Technicians. I wish i have learned about IHNA before engaging in other institutions in the past that only interested in your money. I will give more than 5 stars for IHNA. Well recommended. I wish you all the best team IHNA. May you continue to dedicate in helping your students become successful in whatever they endeavour from your institution.

Ummm

During my 2 years with IHNA, i've noticed how disorganised and poorly planned everything is in this institute and how badly the management handle issues. Thankfully, I had a wonderful, patient, and understanding trainer in the ECEC department but she's evidently very overworked because of all these problems/issues that management throws at her; (sometimes she has to handle 3 classes in one day: 1 face to face and the other 2 were classes in the other states handled online by her). There would be so many students that would ask for support and the management would have question marks written all over their faces. What really pushed me to write this review is during my last part of my Diploma course. I had to do 280hours of placement which started a bit late because of timetable miscalculations. So instead of starting my placement on the day i was supposed to or was written on timetable i ended up starting my placement two weeks later of the supposed date. I assumed since I started late I'd end a bit later too but, towards the end of my placement I got a message from my teacher that I needed to finish exactly on the day that was on my CoE (out of her control) because apparently IHNA can't do any more extensions because they've gotten a bit stricter now. So my placement was cut short and mind you, along with this placement we had a Placement book that had almost 200 pages filled with templates I needed to answer. Thankfully when I got the message I only had 4 more templates to finish up in the book, but obviously I had to rush so I could submit it the next day. I barely had any time go do some double checking. So I was able to submit my book three days before my "final deadline" which could give my teacher some time to check all my answers (poor woman) and see if there were any areas i needed to correct. And surprise surprise there were indeed a few things in my answers I needed to correct, and we've also noticed there were a couple of missing templates in the PEP book too, so I had to go to the campus, print those missing templates then answer the templates which took almost a total of 6hrs. When we finally got to finalise and finish everything, I had to go to officeworks afterwards so I could scan it. Just wanted to bring this up as well; students have limited access to free printing or scanning (which is questionable because I paid 20k AUD for my two years and I'm pretty sure other students as well, or even more) in the campus so I ended up paying $55 at officeworks for scanning 200 pages. Everything was just SO SO RUSHED which made everything super stressful and confusing.NOW this is a bonus story which almost drove me to insanity.I also had one unit that I needed to redo (not a big one would probably take 1hr to do) this is my fault for forgetting about it. So I went on my laptop and LET ME TELL YOU I WAS STRUGGLING to LOG IN TO MY STUDENT HUB ????? i was literally trying to login for almost two hours i had to borrow my roommate's laptop too (i logged in on my phone but the redo was a template in the unit so it was hard to do it on mobile) BUT still couldn't get in because of some silly glitch. Anyways it's 9pm & my last day is tomorrow, 2nd of July. Supposed to complete everything by now but I'm still locked out of my account. Thankfully I got to attach my pdf file of my scanned PEP book using my phone. But theres so much a girl can do.pray for me pray for my teacher BLESS HER for real. Would probs give lesser stars if it wasn't for my teacher, Leticia Ty. So patient & helpful. Pretty sure she's suffered worse.

Best Course

I had Thilini Thilakarathna as my teacher, she was the most patient , kindest and funniest teacher. She made the process go smoothly and the past 6 months have flown by thanks to my teacher. I'm sad that i'm finishing up with the course, I will miss her and my peers. I also had Nirmal as a prac teacher and he did so well making everything understandable, he is also kind and funny making the classes go by quickly

Dont want to give one single star but…

Dont want to give one single star but need to give because giving my review. This college is just worst . They do not have any admition management . I have been calling them from last 4 days regarding my offer letter . Just wanted to get pdf of my offer letter . They just sent me email that I had received the offer letter and didnt send any proof as a pdf. And they told me that I will receive a call from the admin whose name is Anumol someting ,and they told me that “she is in meeting “ which I had been hearing from last 3 days . I dont know which very special meeting does she have with someone that the person is not making her free from last 3 days . Please dont believe to this college . They are just gonna waste your time and wont give any reply to your emails as well .

Certificate III in Sterilisation Services KUDOS to Alexander Alex and Ellie Win

I want to express my gratitude to my CSSD Certificate III instructors, Alexander Alex and Ellie Win, for their commitment to helping students reach their full potential. Their teaching significantly boosted my confidence during my hospital placement. Thanks to their thorough instruction, I was well-prepared and familiar with all the basic instruments. Kudos to Alex and Ellie for their outstanding support and dedication
