I am a private individual with an affiliate link on my youtube channel. My affiliate pays me for clicks if they turn into purchases via Impact.com.

I am not going to call this company a scam because I have already been paid thousands of dollars, and I think there are thousands more to come, however it definitely feels shady to me. I am very suspicious that they don't have the money which is why they keep pushing back payment dates.

I check into my account at Impact.com every day and sometimes spend 30 mins or more trying to check things.

My main complaint is around usablitiy. The user interface is almost impossible to comprehend. It looks like it has been cobbled together by a programmer who keeps getting asked to add features, but he has no idea what those features are or who uses them and he has no clue about making a web page useful and easy to use.

I don't want to know much, just some very simple stuff like:
1) How much have I earned today (with details)
2) How much have I previously earned (with details)
3) Have any payments been made to me. If so, how much, when, and how did you do the calculation?
4) How much are you going to pay me in the future and when? Give details of the calculation.
5) Despite setting up a standing order to pay me automatically when the balance reaches a certain level, the money does not seem to be coming. Why? It looks like you are pushing back the payment dates to maybe monthly? But many months after the commission has been earned and paid to Impact.com
6) Why can't I reconcile amounts you paid to me with the amounts I think I earned?
7) Are Impact.com taking enormous commissions from my earnings? 30%, 50%, 70%? I want to know. It feels like I am getting less than I think was earned. Why can't you suplly information on it. Why don't you reconcile payments with earnings?

I know Impact.com is going to respond and say that all the information I want is on the site. Maybe. But it is impossible to know whjat you are looking at. There are lists all over the place none of which are explained, as to what they are, how they are constructed or how they relate to the amount of money I will receive. I am extremely good with numbers and accounting and can usually make sense of things which are a mess or mis-categorised, but this is absolutly shocking. I assume they must have at least half a dozen people working for Impact. com. and it's a great shame that none of them have the skillset required to make the website presentable.
Another small observation:
If you visit Impact.com you might be invited to to go a review on G2, which I think must be part of Google reviews. There seems to be over 1800 reviews on Google reviews, almost all of them glowing four or five star reviews. Affiliates (who are like me) praise their prompt payments to affiliates. (Waiting months does not feel like prompt to me though).
So here is the mystery. Why does Google Reviews have 1800 reviews almost all 4 or five stars, yet Trust pilot has 187 reviews, almost all 1 or two stars?

Do happy users go to Google Reviews, and unhappy reviewers go to TrustPilot?

To anyone wanting to work with Impact: Beware of wasting your time, effort, and money with a fraudul

Peace be upon you. After experiencing Impact for a sufficient period, I can say that it is the biggest scam platform, wasting the time, effort, and money of partners. This platform waits until there is a balance due in your account, and instead of paying, they simply close the account, This can be done through a simple email with the following text: Due to actions that were not in compliance with impact.com policies and procedures for Media Partners, the account, GOUNGU (6675855), has been deactivated. Please contact impact.com for more information. When you try to contact them simply to find out why your account was closed, the shameful response is as follows: You have not met the Impact MSA requirements, and the actions you have driven have been found to be invalid, We have thus taken the decision to permanently close your account, No further correspondence will be entered into.Today, the platform has transformed from a mere intermediary connecting advertisers and creators into a tool for fraud and deception in the name of the law.

Ticket Id: [#737272] - Subject: Account id: (5998158) was removed from marketplace again but this time the brand ulanzi reached out to me personally for me to send a fee and they told compliance and me that it is ulanzi fault and responsibility that they accepted my slotting fee that they were told before during and after that we would be sending , yet you removed me from the platform and first said it was about ulanzi and then when ulanzi requested that I not have any suspension on my account and that they are completely to blame and they saw I was willing to refund regardless and still compliance keeps me off marketplace and then says my traffic is suspicious but then proceed to interrogate me about ulanzi when ulanzi continues to vouch that I did everything properly and reached out to them and I have yet to hear anything from compliance and the 25,000$ was sent back to ulanzi yet my account is still off marketplace and you told me in November that my account will be back and it is now jan

This company is a joke, but it’s not funny

I had a very bad experience here, and it didn’t take long to see the problems. The Customer Success executive I reported to was passive-aggressive, unresponsive, and honestly not someone I would ever choose to work for. Communication was inconsistent at best, and support was basically nonexistent. What made it worse is that the People leadership did nothing to improve the situation and seemed to quietly contribute to the same unhealthy behavior. Instead of fixing issues, it felt like things were handled behind the scenes in ways that only made the environment more stressful and confusing. The culture overall is heavy on micromanagement and gossip and very light on trust or professionalism. After only 30 days, it was clear this was not a healthy place to work. I would strongly advise anyone considering a role here to think twice and do their research.

Deceptive and fraudulent business practices

This company operates in a highly deceptive manner and targets smaller merchants with misleading sales practices. Before signing, we were explicitly assured—both verbally and in writing—that the contract could be terminated easily. Despite this clear written agreement, the company is now refusing to honor its own contract and is attempting to charge us regardless. The platform itself delivers extremely poor results. The vast majority of “affiliates” are low-value coupon sites, and overall performance is unacceptable. Based on our experience, the business model appears designed to lock in smaller merchants through false promises rather than provide real value.Account managers are aggressive and unethical, and will resort to misrepresentation and deception to close deals. Once onboarded, the reality changes completely, and exiting the relationship becomes intentionally difficult despite prior assurances. We strongly caution other merchants—especially smaller businesses—to avoid this company.

Can never end them or terminate your contract - Business Beware

The payment approach is problematic. Once you commit to a contract, you owe the full amount regardless of any payments made to bring the account current even if it is not due until end of month. You never not owe with this company even when you paid everything off. You cannot cancel the auto-renewing contract. So no one is ever allowed to leave this company and you always have to pay them. Even if you paid them 5 times in 1 month over 5K and you did not owe anything. Any company using them should not sign a contract with them: there is no live customer support, you are unable to cancel your contract, and scammers have been found promoting your product through their application. Their payment management is flawed, and the contract auto-renews indefinitely, potentially draining your company’s resources. As a business to leave this product you might have to lawyer up for them to even cancel your account. Will keep you posted if I have to bring in my lawyers.

No Support Even After 10 Days

I’ve been waiting for support from Impact for more than 10 days, and my account is still stuck in review with no clear update. This delay blocks my Shopify affiliate work and hurts my business. I reached out to support many times, but I got no real help. The communication is slow and unclear. I expected a smooth process, but the experience has been stressful and unprofessional. I hope they fix their support system because this is not acceptable.

stay away

Impact.com has been the worst platform I’ve ever tried. It’s shocking that good brands rely on it—considering how poorly it performs, they are likely losing major promotional opportunities
