They will not give you any assistance if you donot purchase one of their ink/subscription plans. That free ink for three months is a lie you have to purchase a plan. The printer I ordered came with a color printer cartridge that was half full and the blank ink cartridge HAD NO INK AT ALL. They do this intentionally so you can call them and have to purchase ink but I rather leave it in the box and send it back than do that.

Absolutely appalled with the level of customer service. Put my credit card number which was accepted and then they couldn't connect to my computer. Said my printer was being connected and it wasn't. But they have my credit card number. No more HP for me. I was trying to start Instant ink and they said my printer was not compatible! What?

0 stars, really. I used this service for a few months, never printing more than my subscription, except one month i went over by 10 pages. Then my last billing cycle they said I went over by over 450 pages. I explained this calculation was in error. They acknowledged that they count pages in queue THAT WERE CANCELED AND NEVER PRINTED which may have caused an error. But instead of refunding me, they offered me 1/2 of the overage. I explained it doesn't sit well when being charged FOR PAGES NEVER PRINTED SINCE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE PAYING FOR INK. How do you use ink on pages not printed? I'm not making this mistake again- I'm better off just paying for ink cartridges!

The service was not worth the headache. Some months I print a bit more or less than others, you’re charged a high rate when you go over the allowed pages. One month they hadn’t sent me the ink in a timely manner, ran out of ink which defeats the purpose. I tried higher priced plans and then I was overpaying. Just easier to buy ink and refill as needed.

HP’s own support materials show these “Ink System Failure / Supply System Problem” errors are common end‑states that basic resets don’t fix and often end in “service/replace”, leaving consumers with expensive HP‑only ink they cannot use. Frustrating Experience with Subscription Cancellation

Attempted to cancel my subscription, only to discover it didn't process, and I haven't received ink in months yet was still billed. When I called to resolve the issue, I was informed I'd be charged for nonexistent orders and that there was no way to avoid it. It's quite disappointing to be charged for something I never received.

I'm quite frustrated that I'm stuck with the instant ink subscription. I don't remember being informed that canceling my subscription would render the cartridges I believed I purchased useless for my printer. I was told to just buy ink from a store, which is absurd. My husband opened our account years ago, but he sadly passed in 2022. I informed the company via phone, yet they have no record of that call. I've been paying monthly ever since without receiving any replacement cartridges for three years. Payments stopped in November without my knowledge. Complete Scam!

This is an absolute scam! I tried the subscription service, and now my printer won't print unless I keep paying. I feel completely locked out. After purchasing my printer, I should be able to print whenever I want and use third-party ink. Since signing up, my printer has been updated, and even resetting it hasn't allowed me to print without further payments. It's a total scam! I'm ready to switch to another brand!
