I purchased a holiday booking on 2nd February and the experience has been problematic from the very beginning.
There was constant back and forth with “Sam” over the phone, with repeated promises of call backs that did not happen. He was very condensing and rude, making consistent sarcastic remarks to get me to follow and agree to the bullsh** he was giving us. We were told information about flights and the booking that later changed, creating confusion and concern from the start.
We were then told we had been “upgraded” to a different hotel because the hotel we booked wasn’t available. However, this hotel was miles away from where we specifically wanted to stay and was of noticeably poorer standard. This was not an upgrade in any reasonable sense.
Due to this, I formally requested a full refund on 12th February. I was advised to allow 24 hours for a response. No response was received. Since then, my emails and messages have been ignored.
It has now been over two weeks since purchase and the matter remains unresolved despite multiple attempts to communicate.
I have retained full documentation of all correspondence, including emails and records of calls. I am simply seeking cancellation and a full refund. Or this will be going through bank and legal advisors.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
I booked my mum a 50th birthday trip to Paris for 3 nights the first time I’ve ever been able to do something truly special for her. What should have been a meaningful, sentimental gift was completely ruined by this agency’s disgraceful, unprofessional, and frankly fraudulent behaviour.
I dealt with three staff members while organising this trip: Andy (sales rep), Shaun (line manager), and a customer service employee whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. Every single interaction was appalling. Shaun repeatedly called me “buddy” on the phone in a patronising way, Andy was utterly useless agreeing with everything while offering zero actual help and customer service showed no interest in resolving anything.
After the trip was booked, I paid extra to improve the flight times so they’d be more suitable for my mum. Instead of simply adjusting the flights, Andy unbeknown to my knowledge changed and downgraded the hotel, moving it to the outskirts of Paris something I never agreed to and was never informed about.
When I noticed this and politely asked them to correct it back to what I originally booked, they refused. Despite the trip being 7 weeks away, they claimed it “couldn’t be changed” unless I paid extra blaming me for their mistake and demanding more money to reinstate the hotel I had already booked and paid for.
This is beyond outrageous. I tried to do something meaningful for my mum, and this company completely destroyed the sentiment of it. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no attempt to fix a problem they created.
Ask yourself this: if you booked a once-in-a-lifetime gift for your mum, wouldn’t you expect a travel agency to help rather than exploit you?
I genuinely hope no one else has to go through this. Avoid this company at all costs.

Booked through Wowcher, holiday for my self and 11 year old son to Rome
Had a phone call from Travelolo , I was told my flights were arranged for the date I booked , then 10 minutes later same phone call was told they weren’t and that I could only fly out for a what was supposed to be a 2 night trip to Rome the following day which was pointless as we would only get 24 hrs in Rome as we would have to fly back the following morning .
When I Asked for a refund was told only credit note with the company. Well you couldn’t provide the holiday i paid for so you should give me a refund . And if the holidays aren’t available or flights aren’t available , they should be listed as sold out on the dates on wowcher. However when I went back into wowcher website the dates were still available from London even though they were unable to continue with my holiday due to flights not being available all of a sudden .
So had to book an alternative holiday to rome with another company , same dates and guess what flights from London on the same day I originally booked .
Disgusting company to deal with won’t give me a refund and now I have to claim through my bank and Wowcher being just as ignorant been waiting since the 23rd January for a response from them too .
This is a complete disappointment; I recommend avoiding this service. Hotels were not available, and it felt like they were just trying to extract more money from me. There were many hidden fees, such as tourist taxes that weren't included. The accommodations were subpar, and the seating arrangements were random. I was really looking forward to visiting Amsterdam but ended up spending an additional £130 on top of what I had already paid, and I ended up in Rome instead.
I have now reached out to the authorities to investigate and potentially shut down this company! I am owed £447 due to a FAILED mystery holiday, where the manager refused to provide the correct destination unless I paid MORE money. I have proof that a refund was promised by him, yet the service provider is now denying the refund to the credit card company, claiming they have adhered to their terms and conditions. I possess ample photographic and video evidence to counter this, and it is truly appalling that a company can operate in this manner, taking people's hard-earned money without any concern for their wrongful actions. I will not let this go unnoticed; if anyone sees this, please do not risk booking with them or anything associated with this service! They are the worst in the business. I look forward to seeing them exposed in the media! This behavior is not just poor customer service, but also a violation of consumer rights. Under consumer protection laws, customers deserve clear pricing and the right to a refund when services are not delivered as promised. Kudos to them for continuing to break the law!
The holiday we were promised was supposed to be of high quality and value. However, after researching the hotel, I discovered it was infested with bed bugs. It was also advertised as having a private bathroom, which turned out not to be true. I was informed by a representative that the flights were booked for 8 PM on Friday, returning Sunday at lunchtime, which does not provide the minimum hours for a 2-night stay. An upgrade for flights and hotels was suggested for an extra £370, making the total cost over £800, while the deal was initially advertised at £229 per person. I will be pursuing a refund through the company and the payment service, and I am prepared to escalate this issue. We would not have known about these problems without using the voucher, so I fail to see how this aligns with their refund policy.
