What a fantastic adventure Interrailing set us up with!! They were professional, helpful, informative and there was no hidden costs or agenda to take us by surprise. We came from Australia to Europe and undertook the backpacking package which had something from each of our bucket lists to experience. The cost was exceptional and the Tinneri App was perfect for us to use, we wernt locked in to anytours and could manage our time the way we felt at the time but had the options through the appEverything went fairly smoothly, the trains were fine to travel in except when our seats, thou booked werent reserved then we had to move a few times. Overall the three of us were really pleased and happy with Interrailing and have told all our friends about how easy and affordable the packages are and how approachable, experienced and informative the Iovely staff are at Interrailing.Thankyou so much

Our holiday was great. We travelled to Amsterdam via St Pancras and then on to Cologne, Freiburg, Montpellier, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Tomar and Porto.Amsterdam is a vibrant place and the Dutch people are so pleasant to speak to. The accommodation was great for the two nights and the trams in the area were so easy to use.Cologne is full of great architecture and we probably didn’t have enough time to take in the sights. I’d fully recommend the ‘hop on, hop off’ bus. It’s an easy way to get around the whole city in a short time.Freiburg is quite small in comparison and the cathedral is in the centre of town and surrounded by quaint chocolate box houses and hotels. I’d recommend going on a Saturday as the market runs and it’s an opportunity to purchase local crafts.The train connections could be improved as we felt that we needed more time to find the next train. One obvious observation was that there are few staff on the stations to help/advise. Hence the need for more time. The French trains were cancelled several times without any notice and our preprepared routes were disrupted causing extra cost to us. Montpellier was purely a stop gap en-route to Barcelona although the hotel was bang smack in the centre of an industrial estate and quite far from the city centre. The hotel room was more of a self catering facility so we had to rely on reception to get food and drink. Given that we arrived on a Sunday evening this was difficult. Barcelona was nice and at least three days is advised if you want to make the most of it. Do your homework and pre plan what you want to see. Many places of interest are booked online. Madrid is similar to Barcelona and we’d once again advise on using the public transport. If you want traditional food then search carefully otherwise you’ll be eating fast food.Lisbon is lovely although be prepared to do lots of walking. There are lots of independent shops that sell local crafts. I’d also recommend going to the square down by the sea as there are market stalls all around. Nonetheless a learning experience and we’d probably not try and pack in so much is a short time.
My partner and I had never been travelling for an extended period of time before- Interrailing Packages made the whole thing so simple and easy for us every step of the way. The team are happy to help over the phone or email and respond in extremely good time. The quotation you are given at the beginning can be explained and broken down to you as well as changed if your plans don't suit a particular route. We chose the 'Golden Ticket' which took us to 10 cities across 4 weeks. Interrailing packages set you up with an app specifically for your travel itinerary so that you can see exactly what you are doing on which day, also, very importantly, you can see the accommodation you are going to and how to find it with their step by step instructions. They provide so much useful, helpful information on the app such as travel tips and things to do in each city and travel guides to help you on your way. We chose to stay in private hostel rooms and where needed we stayed in hotels as well. All accommodation was way above the standard we were expecting and we were blown away by how clean and tidy everywhere was, even sharing bathrooms was no issue. We came into a bit of a problem in Ljubljana where we were booked into a capsule hostel and this was something that I personally was terrified of- A simple call to the Interrailing packages team and within 15 mins we had been booked into alternative accommodation and no questions asked! Our whole trip we felt supported and looked after and we cannot believe the value for money! It was the best time of our lives and we cannot thank the team enough for their hard work. Interrailing packages are amazing and I think everyone should know how fantastic they are.
Such a fantastic service provided from start to finish. The whole team are so helpful in helping you decide what route you want to take, advice on what accommodation options to choose and the service the whole way up to your trip. Even while on you’re trip they have suggestions for things to do in each city, help with train times and directions to your accommodation and they are there any time of the day or night if you should need them
Plan to get reservations for ALL rail legs, even if it says "no reservations required. Sit wherever you like". You can sit wherever you like until someone who has a reservation for your seat shows up. We had to move twice over the course of 10 rail legs. (one leg was our fault since we missed our train).Accommodations were very convenient by walking or local trans. Breakfasts were very nice except at Rezydent Hotel in Krakow. Very basic breakfast buffet. The location of this hotel more than made up for it. Had a problem with our day trip tp Auschwitz. We were supposed to be picked up at our hotel at 0900. Found out at 1600 the day before that we needed to walk 15 minutes to a pickup area, and our tour was changed to 1145. This completely changed our evening plans. We were reimbursed for a portion of this tour which made it somewhat more palatable, even though it was 1600 when we were notified as to the change, and the requirement to cancel was 0900.
We had a terrifick trip to Europe, mostly because all the assistance InterRailing co. Did for us, they planned our whole itinerary, trains Hotels, Stops, with step by step instructions in the App Although We are not experts in technology we manage with a lot of help from this wonderful people to follow instructions and had an awesome time we are Senior citizens and had a lot of friendly help we really appreciate every one at Inter Railing packages and recommend them to every body that wants to travel throughout Europe by Train or Ferry!
We had a great experience with InterRailingPackages! My friend and I have never done this type of trip before -- we typically plan/book everything ourselves -- but we decided to give it a go, as US travelers unfamiliar with European travel (with the exception of the UK). Each person we communicated with throughout the process was very helpful and friendly. We made some modifications to the "Euro Highlights" package during the planning process and they made it so easy. We were even refunded a portion when we decided to cancel two trains and book our own flights due to the duration of the trains and the fast-paced schedule of the trip.When we received our list of hotel arrangements, we were a bit hesitant after looking up reviews of each place. However, each hotel was much nicer than expected and we had great experiences. They did a fantastic job with the selections. We even had more hotels with air con than we expected! And we never would've gotten such good prices had we booked individually.The best part is that you get your itinerary in an app that also includes recommendations for things to do while in each city! It was very easy to reference instead of having to sort through emails to know where to go!If you prefer a slow-paced, relaxing trip, then the "Euro Highlights" package is probably not for you -- we learned very quickly that we are not the fast-paced travelers that this was built for, but that was 100% on us. If you like to get a quick taste of each city, and usually pack light (off to a new city every other day), then it would certainly be the one for you!We will definitely book through InterRailing Packages again if/when we decide to reach new cities!
