Tried to switch my subscription from extra to original and then got charged for both. Also shipped to wrong address that I updated. Also now it says my subscription is inactive which I did not cancel so now I cannot cancel it. Cannot find anyone to contact other than their dumb AI bot. DO NOT BUY FROM IPSY!!!!!!!!
I'm a 68 year old man and they charged my credit card $214 for something I never ordered, obviously. They have no security and you can't talk to a real person to address this matter. Total scam.
These people are thieves. I canceled my account but they still hit me for money. I'm challenging the charge obviously, and I'm warning people to avoid these thieves. I'm contacting the police if I don't get my money back, because if we all do that when they steal, it'll cause them enough problems to possibly think twice about being shitty.
Scammed my mom. They sent her January package to the wrong address ,that she hasn’t Lived at for years, even though she updated her address,And when my mom is trying to contact for a replacement, they’re refusing and said they’re going to charge her for a replacement and the February package. My mom NEVER gets anything nice for herself, and the one time she does, she gets screwed over by a scamming company. Ipsy just lost a customer, and someone who was considering buying a subscription with them. Get your crap together .
We had an extremely disappointing experience with the service. I have two daughters who each wanted a three-month gift subscription for the holidays. The subscriptions were purchased and sent to my email, as I am their parent and they are minors. I redeemed both subscriptions, but instead of receiving two, my account only shows one six-month subscription. I attempted to reach out to the support team, but was told there’s no way to resolve the issue. This is absurd. My children are very upset as they will now have to share one subscription. I would not recommend this service to anyone, as the support is unhelpful.
Steer clear of this service. The items you receive are merely samples that you could obtain for free from other places. Despite providing your preferences, they are never taken into account. In December, I paid for my monthly subscription and canceled my quarterly subscription, yet I still received charges for an extra box. They informed me that both subscriptions were canceled, but continued to send emails prompting me to select items for the extra box. When I attempted to contact them, I only interacted with a bot and received no replies to my emails. I reached out on December 1 regarding this issue, and three days later, I still haven't heard back. Using the chatbot only generates multiple tickets for your problem and informs you that refunds are not provided. It's better to deal with your credit card company rather than face the frustration of this service.
This service has really declined since my last experience. I can't believe how deceptive their practices have become. While playing a game, I came across an ad for their bag priced at $4. I clicked on it, signed into my old account, and took the quiz. It then prompted me to continue, but there was no indication that a charge would be finalized or what the amount would be, so I assumed that I would see it on the next page. Instead, it seemed like the purchase was completed without any notification of the cost. After not using them for over five years, I was surprised to find that they still had my payment information on file, and I received a notification of a $36 charge! I tried to cancel immediately, but I couldn’t get the automated system to assist, nor could I reach a representative. Now, I'm left waiting and hoping for a response to my ticket for a refund.
This service is a complete scam! I placed an order in November after completing a questionnaire, and the makeup I received was more suitable for a child's first play set. I promptly canceled my order, but to my surprise, they sent a shipment after Thanksgiving and processed another one for December despite my cancellation, which I have email proof of.
I don't have enough funds to pay for the service monthly, so when I noticed a buy one get one free offer, I thought I could indulge for a month and receive two bags. I subscribed and planned to cancel on the 25th to avoid charges for the next month. According to the policy, if I canceled before the package shipped, I would lose my free gift, but I wasn't overly concerned as I believed it would ship before the cancellation date. Unfortunately, it did not. I canceled my subscription and ended up with only one bag, while they shipped my package the following day. I find this practice quite disappointing, and I likely won't make another purchase.
😒wow wtg iPSY. Way to make us feel totally NOT special anymore. We want the "Glam Bag" back ! Tf is "original" !?🙄 Who feels glamorous getting an "iPSY original" certainly not me. 😒iPSY has gone drastically downhill. Products arent as good & such a tiny product for their prices. Never allows me to make my "choice". No notifications for that but constant emails about buy this buy that. Besides the cost continues to increase & the products are less & less worth it. I pay $29.76 for 4 samples & only 1 "full size" product which is always something small & it's called"original" bag? No Ty. What a joke ! I'm switching to a better beauty subscription. Don't waste your $ on iPSY.
