The worst customer service I have ever experienced! What should be a simple claim refund has turned into an exhausting and incredibly frustrating ordeal. Customer service is completely unhelpful, unresponsive, and dismissive. It genuinely feels like Irish Health is deliberately delaying and avoiding paying out legitimate claims. This level of service is unacceptable, and I have completely lost trust in this company.
My son needed surgery in Croom orthopaedic hospital,one of the Limerick group of hospitals.Its a public hospital.If you have any injury you have to go to Limerick general hospital so the Consultant your under may follow on with surgery in Croom .Irish Life would not cover surgery in Croom.Will cover surgery in the Bon’s in Limerick🤔🤔but your Consultant only works in the public orthopaedic hospital,really .Does this make any sense.Im leaving Irish Life .Would not recommend this insurance company
Apparently receipts issued by the Beacon hospital is not good enough for them to approve my claim. They find any ridiculous excuses to not approve my claim. The receipt was not spelling everything in the exact order they'd like. They ask me to prove the exact amount I paid for each treatment. Funniest thing I've ever heard. If the hospital has to issue separate payment receipt for each test, I'd be there all day!!! And who they think would pay for those if it wasn't me?!! Anyway save yourself some pain, don't go with them.
DO NOT MOVE YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE TO THIS COMPANY. Appalling customer service, phone not being answered for up to 35 mins (maybe longer), app not working, claims not being honoured, I could go on and on. I can't wait to move back to Vhi.
Wasn't informed app was being 'migrated', found out last week when I couldn't make a claim. So I registered for an online account but have been unable to add my policy. I used Webchat and email for assistance but insultingly was told that I wasn't providing the correct policy details. So I phoned, spoke to a nice chap who was going to delete my account and then I'd reregister any my plan would be available...By the way, I'm not the only person affected by the migration. But guess what? When I try to reregister It tells me I'm already registered so my account hasn't been deleted as promised - and if I go to delete it myself I have to contact Webchat. Two words. Laurel. Hardy.
Absolutely useless… had a second procedure done this year with zero cover from Irish Life. Benefit 2 plan covers so little. The system is designed to only cover more rare procedures avoiding having to cover more common procedures … goodbye Irish life. Terrible terrible terrible
I have been a customer for over 20 years they cancelled my policy due to a bank error never made any attempt to contact me I live overseas they had my email address and told me I have to start a new policy disgusting company no empathy and no respect for loyal customers shame on you Irish Life you ripped me off for 20 years STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY if anyone can recommend another company please let me know
