Possibly the single worst company I've ever had to deal with.I work for a company that gets mystery shopped by these troglodytes, and I've requested numerous times how they handle data, and what measures they have in place to ensure their moronic low IQ mystery shoppers delete video and voice data. What was their response? NOTHING.For all I know my face and voice is still on one of their creepy shoppers harddrive 🤢I also filed a complaint against an extremely aggressive mystery shopper who (actually a true story btw) walked out of our store, turned off his camera, and came back in and kicked off at 3 members of staff about incorrect policies and procedures even though WE WERE CORRECT. What did Ipsos do? Nothing.Poor company and extremely poor staff.
I don't get why they have such low ratings?Did 2 tasks this month, paid for one already and the other one is approved too (they follow pay cycles so I should get it sometime in the next week or so).The call support ain't too good but I receive fast email responses Moreover, it's backed by a largely known survey / market research company so it's odd to me to see such ratings on here tbh.UPDATE: I'm actually surprised because I've done 2 successful audits and been paid out for both promptly, did a 3rd one and will be paid out for it in a few days.Seems like they do pay out as long as you follow the task rulebook. So don't doubt the site
We have done a few jobs with this company, the other thing that happened was we went to do 1 job which was a bit higher pay they then ask to do another on which was lower pay and because of a mix up we only got a low of pay so we were out of pocket so that's the thing make sure you do things right and don't get mixed up.
I have been a mystery shopper for over 20 years for various companies, including IPSOS. I have always found them good to work for. However, recently they have started declining task surveys without good reason or for something so small and innocent. You write one word out of place and they refuse to pay the entire fee. I’m left out of pocket. Do not trust them, it’s free to sign up but you will end up not being paid by them. Something has changed in IPSOS recently and it’s a real shame as this once great company is not a complete con. They get paid by companies and get us unsuspecting hard working people to do all the running around for nothing. Shame on you IPSOS. Sort out your management as you have gone to the dogs.
I used to like them, and it was a pleasure working with them but recently they turned bad.I had a task with an extra pay; I went a few times on the website to check the requirements and the day of the task the extra pay wasn't there anymore. I completed the task anyway and I asked them about the payment. They told me that there was no evidence and that the project team does not provide bonuses this high. I asked them to inspect their databases but still no evidence, seriously? I checked the website and there was plenty of extra pay even higher than my task.Some dishonest joined the group.Ipsos, do your investigation, I'm waiting for your apologies.Till then, PEOPLE STAY AWAY
Spending loads on time , money , brain to give valuable survey inputs to these guys for just few bucks . After all that also they are not paying me the cost of the meal at least? Spent the 38£ and received only 4£ even after submitting the survey twice :(
If I could give no stars I would. I do not normally write reviews but I want to warn others so that they do not become victims of this scam company. I have done 2 successful visits and recently did my third following exactly the same procedure as before. I referred to the guidelines and the worksheet attached. The guidelines stated the drinks but I had to refer to the worksheet for the meals that could be ordered. I submitted my survey but they have refused payment stating I did not order meal from their food spec. I emphasised there was no food spec and the item was on their worksheet. I have been robbed of nearly £50.The meal was awful and not a place I would visit.
*********** Update******************************** After I made this post my rating score dropped from 93 % to 80 % after I called the reviewer on her rudeness. Maybe I should get someone from ageing and disability involveed with this now since it is clearly discrimanation for my disablity..****** I just started with ishop but have made to feel retarted and incompetent. First let me start that I am a 58 y.o.female that is autistic and legally deaf. I started doing this to help pay for groceries because after bills there was nothing left for food. It seems i get my reports back except the easy ones online. I feel I am being targeted for my disablity . I got a nasy report back tonight giving me only 12 hrs to fix it. But i feel stupid now. Like what I do wont be right with this company. Here is the email I got tonight about my report:Please re-submit the report with all changes within 12 hours. - There are two photos missing - please upload a photo of the store/building front view and the Overall location front view. - All of the comments need to be rewritten using full and complete sentences, proper punctuation and proper spelling/grammar. - There were MANY, MANY extra photos uploaded here that had to be deleted. In the future, please only upload the correct photos to each section and NO MORE than 2 photos per question.This made me feel stupid for trying to do this job. Due to my disablity i have no self confidence, and honesty I was afraid to leave the house and this is why I took this job to make me get out to be around people. Maybe I am not the best for this kind of job after all. I feel by saying something now that any job I try to get will be rejected. All I wanted to do was make extra money to buy groeceries. I didnt realize you need a degree in English to report on a gas station. If anyone has any words of encoutagement or a direction to go that wont completely shatter my self esteem the rest of the way I am here to listen.
