Review Time
I usually hate having to go through the pain of renewing utility contracts. This is the second time I've used Independent utility advice.They can be persistent but nothing like their competitors. There wasn't any 'fear close' tactic to pressurise me into making a decision. All the info supplied was clear and the sign up process straight forward. I feel I have got a good deal and It was good to talk to people who knew what they were talking about which made a change.
Extremely rude and tried to intimidate me by intimating she would put in a complaint about my obvious exasperation with her - having already explained why we justifiably can't engage with every cold calling business who contacts us - she continued to barrage with ridiculous questions. Said she was an expert but was clearly just reading bullet points meant to shock me, nothing about the call told me this company are experts or know how to successfully engage with potential customers.
Rude person insisting they were calling me about an ongoing investigation. Claimed he spoke to me in April and I told him to call back, when in fact he called twice last week when I told I'm not interested.Got stroppy when I wouldn't give him any details of our energy bills and what information our broker has given us. Will just play along next time and waste his time!!They’ve replied asking me to call their customer service manager, not sure why they think that I would want to!! I didn’t ask you to call me and I’m certainly not going to call you!! As I said I’ll just waste the next persons time when they ring, which will probably be next week!!
What a nice bunch of people at IUA. Everyone wants to do their best for you. They have saved us thousands going forward. I just wish we hadn't renewed our contracts through another broker back in April! You feel like you are their only customer and their service is genuine. I can't thank them enough.
Shannon from IUA is once more having to deal with our business energy provider on our behalf, re- an invoicing issue created entirely by the energy provider. Shannon/IUA is always available, is very helpful/knowledgeable/responsive and will hopefully resolve the problem on my behalf, saving me precious time and effort. Will definitely upgrade to 5 stars when the issue is resolved!
Their sales people were very pushy at the start, urging us to make a decision quickly, but we took our time and eventually we went with them because they offered the best rates for our renewals. The process was easy enough and now we have an representative assigned to us who has been lovely and replies to emails quickly.
