Not all salespeople are the same...

My husband and I have a lot of experience with car sales and the individuals selling them, ranging from unreliable to outstanding. Our recent experience was exceptional. The representative was genuinely enthusiastic about his product, showing a clear passion for cars. While he has a preference for high-performance vehicles, he was equally knowledgeable about any car we wanted to discuss. He found the perfect vehicle for us, despite our narrow search range. He organized the transfer of the car from a different location for a test drive, all while maintaining a positive attitude. We loved the car and decided to buy it the same day. We encountered a few minor issues afterward, but the representative is addressing them promptly. Unlike many salespeople, he continues to show interest even after the sale. This representative is truly going places!

Battery issue with the vehicle

The vehicle developed a battery problem, a common issue it seems. The local dealership will not look at it for four weeks. I was told there were no available slots and they do not accept walk-ins. This company does not prioritize customer service; they seem to focus solely on their own schedules and workloads. They leave customers stranded for weeks over common faults. I contacted a non-dealership service and secured an appointment in two days. They listened and were accommodating. That’s the difference.

Lack of assistance with recall issue

I received a letter from the manufacturer about a safety recall for the passenger airbag. After two visits to the local dealership where I was turned away due to unavailable parts, I arranged a collection appointment through customer service, which was confirmed in writing. However, nobody showed up to collect the vehicle. Throughout this process, I received no updates from the dealership. Eventually, I took my vehicle to another dealership that successfully completed the airbag installation. While customer service was sympathetic, they had limited influence over the dealership. Unfortunately, this experience highlighted that the dealership lacks genuine concern for ordinary customers.

Issues with the vehicle

The vehicle broke down twice in two weeks due to major electrical issues. Assistance was provided both times, but the dealership refused to examine the vehicle for over a month. When you own a nearly new, expensive vehicle, you expect better care from a main dealer. They seem overwhelmed and unable to provide adequate support. I would advise against this brand due to quality concerns and the lack of service from this dealership.

Declining service standards

The service levels have declined significantly. My registration recognition for quick check-in failed as my vehicle wasn’t booked in, causing delays. I requested a quote for paint repairs, but never received it. I asked for a callback to reschedule my car service but had to follow up multiple times. I also requested repairs for a door seal, but nothing was done. I am very disappointed with the service from this designated center, which is not what I expect as a customer.
