Used today. If I could give a minus score I would.Supposed to be non drip? Don't make me laugh, omfg! After a stir i started to paint, within 5 strokes of brush it starts dripping. This lasted all through 6 doors and skirting.Won't ever be using this again. It's no wonder Johnstone have not replied to any negative feedback as they know themselves it's not non drip.Don't waste your money on this paint as you'll be as disappointed as many others are.
Shocking paint quality. Supposedly cleanable (hahahahaha, good one!). Painter and decorator used this paint for our hall, stairs and landing. As others have said, it is not wipeable/cleanable without leaving large dark patches behind. Pathetic. I can see why the trade use it and rave about it, because customers will need walls to be repainted in no time, very lucrative. Valspar all the way baby!
Shocking quality paint - Covaplus trade emulsion. Used it on two rooms in our house and another couple in our relatives place (different colours). Went on nice but marks incredibly easily - to the point that within two weeks of applying it we need to repaint. You can’t even wipe it with a dry cloth without it marking! Tried contacting their customer service who were bordering on rude in their response and told us to use their durable paint instead (no offer of compensation or apology either). You do wonder how these companies continue to exist.
Bought Johnstones non drip gloss to paint a wardrobe omg all it does is run, 5 coats later and still see streaks.Worse paint I have ever used. The satin paint I the same colour manhatten grey is just as bad on wood.Took 4 coats on 2 doors but still streaky. When used a gloss roller it now looks like bubbles of paint so you can't win with this paint, brush or roller it's horrendous paint.I PROMISE IF YOU BUY IT YOU WILL REGRET ITI moved home so bought satin, gloss, emulsion in same shade. The emulsion is just as bad 4 coats.Yet the deluxe white gloss I bought only took 2 coats obviously that's the quality difference.DULUX FOR ME JOHNSTONES IN THE BIN
Using Johnstones tough paint washable, this has to be by far the worst paint I’ve ever used, I’m in the middle of painting a toilet room which I’ve primed prior and like other comments it’s like oil on water, I’m putting it on in one stroke and it’s coming off in the next breath, and don’t dare give it a minute as it will completely come off when continuing to roll having pass your last stroke because it tears off, absolutely fuming as I’m now going to have sand it all back and get another brand. It’s absolutely good for nothing, unusable and don’t get me started on the colour. If you want my advice on how you can do better, STOP selling paint, will be the first and last time you steal my money for shoddy paint. Since 1890 pffftt, would of thought you’d got better.
