I purchased them for 2 months and actually found a critical error that made canceling difficult. Finally contacted them about it, and they were less interested in the bug and more interested in finding a way to keep my money for the up coming month, which was a substantial amount.
The communications felt more like a court case rather than a customer support chat.
Very very dissapointed in Fin and Gem at customer service, not sure if they get bonuses or rewarded for such behavior but very sad. They eventually stopped responding all together, even after I provided documented proof of the error.
I became a member of the platform back in 2019, and it was an excellent software and service until around 2024. Initially, it was reasonably priced, they offered promotional items, and everything felt great. I truly appreciate the platform for helping me build my online business during those years. However, after 7 years, I've had to click the cancel button. It wasn't my intention, but the issues just kept piling up, with no positive experiences to speak of. They stopped paying out affiliate commissions unless a specific monthly quota is met. The rewards program has been discontinued, and inquiries about it lead to frustrating circular responses. The upsell pages remain unchanged since 2019, lacking any updates, which is crucial for many users. They rolled out a new payment system that feels mandatory, and if you decide to leave, you risk losing your subscription customers. Additionally, recent price increases have been a shock, with my original plan around $149 now costing over $249 plus VAT monthly, yet the customer support and features have declined. The final straw was the suspension of their community groups, likely due to user complaints. There are plenty of other platforms available that are more affordable and offer better features for direct marketers. Goodbye to the platform, It was once valuable, but now it doesn’t justify the cost. With new software emerging, there are far superior options available. Thanks for the good times.
It's a great platform to create beautiful and efficient landing pages, websites, blog posts, emails, offers like online courses, coachings, downloadables, podcasts and checkout pages. It's so practical that it is one platform for everything. When I had questions or doubts, I checked the FAQ, which is very helpful. Additionally, I contacted the Customer Support twice, and they were helpful, efficient and could solve my problem within 48 hours.I highly recommend Kajabi.
I recently subscribed to Kajabi, joining shortly before the recent price increase. While I appreciate the platform’s overall functionality, I was disappointed to see such a substantial increase — around 20% — without any noticeable improvement in the features or value available to my current plan.I understand that Kajabi has introduced new tools and capabilities, but these additions don’t benefit my existing setup. If I had wanted those features, I would have chosen to upgrade my plan. I was satisfied with what was originally included, and it’s frustrating to pay considerably more for the same level of service.Kajabi remains a solid platform, but this change has made me reconsider whether it’s the right long-term solution for my business. I hope the company reconsiders its approach to pricing for existing users.
I purchased a course from a creator, and at that time they offered to preorder a “coming-soon” course.Fast forward one year later (September): I received an e-mail from the creator informing students who preordered that course that for now it will not come out and we would receive a full refund.Since I never received the refund, I contacted the creator and she was really nice, but said that she has no control on it since she has no access to my payment references. In the past two months, I got in touch with the creator a few times: she said that the team in charge is very slow in replying. Apparently all other students received their refund (?), but I didn’t because they say I “deleted my billing details from the website”: not only I didn’t, but I don’t even see the “billing” section! I sent screenshots to the creator of what I see, I gave her the reference of my PayPal I used to pay for the course, she forwarded everything to the Kajabi team, but no refund and no feedback. You inform me that a course I paid for in advance last year will not be published and refuse to get back to me and the creator for refund?!Edit 29 Oct 2025: I don't see the point in telling me to write an e-mail to "investigate further", if then you don't reply or mark my review as "wrong domain". Sorry, but it is the right domain: if both the creator and I are not able to get assistance for a glitch in the refund procedure that does not depend on us and we are unable to solve, this means that there is no assistance in case the platform doesn't work as it is supposed to (both for the teacher and for the student).
Terrible UX for Marketing Forms This site's absurd UX for marketing forms makes the site nearly unusable as you grow. You're only able to create up to 50 form fields to be used across your entire site's forms. Why? No clue. They won't explain it or provide any option (even paid) to increase your limit. They say it's "hard coded" into the site. Again: Why??Their advice will be to "archive" (delete) form fields you aren't using anymore—but good luck figuring out which ones aren't in use since there is absolutely no link on the backend to show you where they're being used. Form fields themselves are also limited. For example, you can't do a "select all that apply" question or set up conditional questions. My organization already had this platform when I joined the team but if I'm ever in charge of picking another, I'll steer clear of this FAST just because you cannot continue using the marketing forms as you grow, making basic marketing strategies anywhere from a huge headache to downright impossible.
Kajabi appears to be money hungry and genuinely uncaring of your experience. For a platform that allegedly prides itself on support, they show a complete disregard for their consumers and a disturbing lack of humanity. Scroll down and you'll see plenty of examples. When I reached out to them recently in good faith -because there had quite literally been 2 separate deaths in the family and I had been unable to use the platform - they refused to help.Even though it was never used once and it would have literally cost them nothing to honour the unused months and extend it - which is all I was asking for in good faith given the circumstances - they refused and gave no assistance other than to claim it was outside their policy.Absolutely disgusting and shameful behaviour and clearly showcasing a disturbing lack of empathy, integrity and humanity.
