We have been without WiFi and TV all weekend , it's now Monday and still nothing.. random all weekend all you get is a recording!! Rang this morning the person on the phone was very short and snappy! Sick of dealing with machines.. I understand there outages happen, but there general customer service is crap.. we pay enough and if god forbid you late with payment your cut off!! Just not good enough!
Virgin Media have reached new depths. 1. Sending me offers that no longer exist. 2. Trying to speak to an agent ridiculous menus. 3. When getting through an agent doesn't chat but disappears.
Overall service BEYOND DREADFUL!
I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life.
I ordered broadband in September and it has still not been installed, yet I have already been billed and charged €90.
I tried contacting them multiple times (phone, email, chat, even visiting a store), but it’s impossible to get any help or even submit a complaint.
Now I’m receiving messages threatening debt collection for a service that was never provided.
I strongly advise anyone to avoid Virgin Media!!!
The customer service was absolutely shocking. Coming to the end of my deal & phoned to renew, £37 for me because I was a valued customer, new customer is £32. I was repeatedly told that £37 was a discounted rate & I “simply don’t get it” as in understanding. Talking over me constantly so I finished with which amount is greater? £37 or £32? Got very rude once I asked that so I give my notice.
I’ve found another provider but 14 days before they cut off they’ve emailed & offered me £21 PM.
Not sure what any of you put on a price of being spoken to like 💩 but I’d rather pay double than go back to VM.
Turns out I got double the speed VM offered & £21 PM with 3 months free. I took great pleasure in telling them to do one. Oh & a better deal as it turns out.
I decided to try Virgin media, what a mistake! First visit they sent the wrong team to do the install, the second visit the weather was too bad. The the third visit, they needed two people as I live on a busy main Rd. Finally today I've been told they don't have the equipment to do the install. What an absolute joke. How does this company manage day to day operations god only knows.
Think twice before switching to Virgin media. Save yourself the pain and go elsewhere !!
Highly disappointed with their customer service , their over charges, their itself changes plans , 4,4 hours long calls to sort the issue still they are forwarding and forwarding. Highly not recommended. Never go for this
Was hoodwinked into getting virgin...Terrible service i lasted 5 days with them wish i had read the reviews before agreeing!!. Thankfully they have a 14 day cooling off period. I cancelled the service within 2 hours of it being installed.....Honestly do your research these have to be the worse internet providers i have used.... Their customer service is non existent and the sales team hoodwink you by giving you false info of what you actually get.....Cowboys
I had a brilliant experience with the Virgin Media engineer, Tom, who came to fix my broadband issue. He was extremely bubbly, friendly, and professional from the moment he arrived. Tom clearly knew exactly what he was doing — very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose and resolve the problem. There was no time wasted, and he made the entire process feel completely seamless. Before leaving, he double-checked everything to ensure the broadband was working perfectly, which gave me real confidence that the issue was fully resolved. A fantastic service experience — thank you, Tom!
Worst customer service ever that hangs up on you, get a grip virgin media, you need ai which would do a better job than a outsourced call centre in india, they have no clue about UK consumer laws nor networking... absolute crap DO NOT EVER GET VIRGIN, YOU ARE BETTER OF WITH MOBILE INTERNET!
Absolutely awful. Changing to another provider.
Overpriced to the point of daylight robbery. The price for my package was set to increase to over £100 in april for wifi that has been cutting off unexpectedly for the last few weeks, causing me to be kicked from an important medical appointment on a teams call which I've had to reschedule. Called to tell them I'm leaving and, surprise surprise, I'm now exempt from the price increase and only need to pay a measly £82!!! What a bargain... And supposedly they've applied the "maximal discounts" to my package. There are broadband packages for new customers as low as £17.99p/m advertised on their website.
They convinced me the tivo package would be the best option because of the deals and discounts but they just use these to rack up the price over time. I was told that I couldn't cancel the tivo box, even though it's a hunk of junk and I don't use it, and the landline, which I've never had and which I have told them I don't have multiple times with no change to my bill, and that it wouldn't lower the price to do so. Even on the call to cancel they were trying to convince me that I'm getting a great deal on my landline price after I told them AGAIN that I've never had one.
They make it exceedingly difficult to get in touch with customer support and I had to get the support number from a third party website because they don't provide it. But seemingly it's real easy to get in touch with me to ask me to upgrade.
I've been paying extortionate rates for broadband for years from them and I'm confident the advertised speeds are not accurate.
On top of that, they're still going to charge me for the early termination despite these issues.
Do yourself a favour and go with somebody else. The speeds will never be worth it.
