Review Time
The entire experience was - and still is - an absolute disaster. I placed an order in October for a set of four lanterns with a 2-5 day shipping estimate. It's now January and I have received exactly one lantern, which not surprisingly is MUCH smaller than advertised and the package damaged. They continue to ask for my next installment payment through their vendor Affirm. I have repeatedly refused to continue to pay for a product I never received, to both Kaliqo and Afffirm. I also reported both to the Better Business Bureau for fraud. This is a total scam, not sure how either company is in business.
The images on their posts and videos are false advertising. Lanterns look like glass. They are actually cheap "frosted" plastic that would blow over in the wind. They are very small lanterns. Fit it your hand. Not good for outdoor lighting. Also the "flame" looks nothing like depicted. It looks like a light bulb!!! They also will not take returns to the address in the US like the return policy states. Even just 3 days after delivery. Will not pay for return postage.
DO NOT ORDER!!! I wished I had read the reviews before I placed an order. I have the same issues as everyone else. I ordered the buy 4 and get 4 free - I received only 1 - it only took 6 weeks to receive from China - not Texas as advertised. The picture is very deceptive. The lantern fits in the palm of my hand and is made of opaque plastic. Very disappointed! I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. This company is bogus!
I paid for the 11 inch clear lanterns and even took photos of the sale product at the time. I received the 4in frosted plastic priduct, not at all what I’m looking for. I contact the co which immediately replies back and gaslights me, saying it was my “confusion” and I could return the item to CHINA with all costs to me. Then they’ll give me a refund after they receive it (highly doubt at this time that would ever happen). They’re deceptive terrible toxic and predatory co that is doing this to most of its purchases and should be sued into poverty.
I order the flam light for a special even for us, the presentation from the lamp, is not what i get.I get a cheap little plastic lamp. Kaliqo was not helpful, the send me 30% off my money back, but not the full amount.This is a fraud.
After I input my CC I immediately try to cancel the order but they say it is too late. They did not stated it comes from China so it took long time to received . When I received the light fixture so much smaller then what the website shows. It is scam and misrepresentation at least . Do not buy this product. Nothing like what their advertising shows.
