I loved the Katalyst suit to start. It was a great workout, very efficient, and rewarding. But the experience has really gone downhill fast. I can't get anyone to respond to issues with the suit. The chest component stopped working and I used the suit without it. Now the arm bands won't work. I've tried to get in touch with support on multiple occasions and the only responses I get are that they are very busy and will get back to me soon (still hasn't happened after months). They also chastised me for sending in more than one support message. I've tried to cancel with no response, so now I'll be using my credit card company to help me cancel and resolve this issue that Katalyst can't be bothered to assist with.
Same negative feedback as others.Quality of the suit is low second warranty claim in the 1st year. 3rd gen suit. Seal around electrodes gets broken. The warranty shorts that they send is already broken after few month. This time around customer service in not existent one reply in one month saying that they are delayed. Indicates major issues at this so called company. Great product though when working
After finally hearing from their customer service reps when I had an issue with suit fit (that first communication took nearly two months), they were going to send a new size. Great communication and thought they were going to make it right after a couple of back and forth messages over a two day period. Asked me to confirm my shipping address, and crickets for several months, no new vest. I don’t recommend this program until they get their fit issues and customer service figured out, especially with how incredibly expensive it is.
When I first received my suit over a year ago, the customer service was exceptional. I told everyone how great the suit was and how great the service was. I had a minor problem with the suit after six months and they jumped on a solution. But now my suit isn't working and I've tried to get a response from Katalyst for two months. They have not replied to any emails - I've tried three different ways to reach them and have no answer whatsoever. I now have a $3,000 investment plus the monthly fee that is worthless. It's shocking that the level of customer service went from the best I've experienced to none whatsoever.
Customer support has ghosted me and many others (see Reddit posts) I lost weight and my now too big suit gives me terrible shocks in my shoulders and lower back. I was in regular contact arranging a trade in for smaller size (which is part of guarantee) and the nothing now for two months! I have tried to reach out repeatedly but nothing. Very disgusted that my major investment is useless, and I still have 18 months on my subscription. Cannot recommend as something must be ticking Katalyst stability for them to stop communicating with customers!
I’ve owned the suit for a year. The water bottle pump broke. Ordered a new one 7 weeks ago. Still has not shipped. Emailed customer support 3 weeks ago for ETA and got an auto-responder saying rhey are overwhelmed with support requests and would take a few days to respond. Never heard back. E-mailed again a week later and never heard back. Will be submitting a chargeback for the order since their customer service is MIA.
Great product when it remains intact. Efficient and effective workouts. Verified on a personal pre/post bioelectrical impedance and functional fitness testing. However, customer service took a significant dip in recent months. I wonder if Seema (earlier review) and I are the only ones not receiving responses from the company. I purchased a gen 3 in November. Typical use (3x/week) and care per instructions. Pads started to peel off on both the chest and legs after a couple of months. Sent a video/complaint via email and got a replacement sent immediately. Same thing about two months after that. This time though no response from customer service until I threatened a report to FDA marketwatch (peeling pads were associated with more stinging during use--safety??) and BBB. Received a next day response with a promise to send a third gen 3 suit replacement and then never heard back despite multiple follow ups. Have since filed a BBB complaint and just received word from them that Katalyst has not responded to their outreach. If it were not for the pads peeling off on each of the received suits, I would be a satisfied customer and enthusiastic proponent. However, looking at the absence of either gen 3 or gen 4 suits for sale on their site, I wonder if the company is in financial/supply chain trouble.
I’m genuinely excited to try the Katalyst Gen4 suit and have been in touch with the team earlier this year about testing the product. My family generously gifted me the suit, and we placed an order on April 8th. Unfortunately, it’s been several weeks with no response or updates to order#16728 from the company, despite multiple follow-ups from my family. I’m traveling soon and was hoping to test and share my experience with others. Katalyst team, I’d love your help resolving this!
