When I reached out to the company via social media, they stated they would start a courier claim but offered no real updates, forcing me to follow up repeatedly. Attempting to escalate the issue with the payment platform led to further disappointment, as the seller falsely claimed they had offered a $100 refund, which they did not. The platform’s policy also did not cover damaged items. I tried contacting them again regarding the supposed refund, but my messages went unanswered. The company's communication was frustratingly inadequate, and there were no updates on the courier claim. This situation dragged on for over two months. In an effort to salvage the extensions, I washed them with professional products, but they remained tangled and patchy. When I reported this, they denied responsibility and blocked me on social media. Attending the weft course was an incredible experience! The training was thorough and practical, leaving me eager and self-assured to begin. The instructors were warm and inviting, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. The inclusion of lunch was a delightful bonus. Any initial nervousness vanished the moment I arrived. I wholeheartedly suggest this course to anyone considering a venture into hair extensions!
By far the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with 100% AVOID. I placed my original order on the 7th of June, for reference I did order a custom length and I knew delivery time would be a little extra. At the start they were so helpful they were replying to my emails almost immediately even on Sundays/ late in the evening when I wouldn’t have been expecting a reply I thought they were great. I received my first package on the 26th of June so just over two weeks after placing my order which I was expecting as it’s a custom length. I ordered two colors and one of the colors was totally different, it was meant to be a blonde mixed with a cool toned brown, it was blonde mixed with an orangey blonde. I emailed them for help and they replied with an automated message claiming that it was due to phone lighting and filters etc, as a hairdresser myself I understand that lighting etc plays a huge part in how it looks on the phone vs in person but this was such a huge difference in color that using that as an excuse is unacceptable. After that they became awful to deal with I tried to arrange sending the hair back for new hair and they were no help whatsoever ignoring emails for days until I had to send another email to get a reply eventually they stopped replying to my emails all together (all I was asking in the emails was for pictures of a shade close to the one I ordered they could replace the hair I got with) no help. Eventually I messaged the number on their website and I got a reply with a picture of a shade that still wasn’t close to the hair they have advertised on their website but at this stage I don’t care what color it comes I’ve waited so long for it I’ll just take the hair and color it myself in salon. It was the 8th of July by the time I got a response and I had been emailing since the 26th of June. I sent back the hair through tracked post which meant I was spending even more money. I send proof that the hair was send through tracked post and once the hair was sent I asked if they could start processing the new order immediately since, obviously it is still a custom length and wait times are longer. I was told on the 10th of July that they had only begun processing the order and sending it for delivery. It’s now the 21st of July and I’ve still received no tracking number or response from the company at all. 7 weeks since my original order and still don’t have the extensions. I heard great things about this company and I had clients waiting to see my hair wanting to place an order from them also as they offer custom lengths but from now on I will be telling every single extension client that sits in my chair to stay away, and other hairdressers in the industry also. For the amount of money you’re spending the rudeness is astonishing.

The seller falsely claimed they had offered me a $100 partial refund, which was never true, I was never offered anything at all.And paypal was useless as their policy doesn’t cover damage product received, which doesn’t make sense, and was unable to request a chargeback through the bank due to the nature of paypal transactions… I then tried to contact them again to ask regarding the partial refund and they just ignored my messages leaving it on “seen” They never updated me on the courier claim either, I wouldn’t be surprised if they pocketed it themselves as-well. This back and forth went on for over 2 months! Hoping to salvage the product, I then washed the extensions using professional hair extension products, but the hair remained tangled, uneven/ patchy colour, and unusable. When I told them this, they refused to take responsibility and deflected all blame, and then blocked me on instagram entirely!!!When I originally received it, i shared my experience in a well-known hair extensions Facebook group, I found many others had similar issues. Several people said they received low-quality products and noted the brand uses sneaky advertising tactics, including what appear to be paid or fake positive reviews to mislead buyers.This entire experience felt like a scam. The product quality, customer service, and company ethics were all appalling! especially for the price.

I had bought from hairkings for years until I found Archie Lloyd’s. Their hair doesn’t compare to any other brand. So much smoother, feels like real hair, looks more realistic, washes so much better, awww I could go on! Hair has lasted me over a year whereas other brands I was getting 3 months max- Archie Lloyd’s is a game changer in the hair extensions industry for sure!
First off, I’ve been a tape in extension user for about 15 years. I have tried glamseamless, BELLAMI, Zala, Amazon, Bombay .. you name it I’ve tried it. I’ve been very disappointed in all of these brands. They are either too thin or the blondes never look right. Most of them dry out so bad within the first few washes. Sometimes after the first or second wash. These extensions not only are thick from root to ends but they are soft. They don’t feel fake. They’re soft like my real hair. Normally I can tell a different between my hair and the extensions and with these they are so soft. No shedding. I hardly get any shedding. I see myself wearing these for a while. I will be ordering from this company from now on and my clients will as well. 10/10 customer service and the shipping was way faster then they had said they arrived two days earlier then expected. I am a forever customer!
So after lots of recommendations, I decided to give Archie Lloyd's a go, I was really sceptical at first as I always am when ordering new hair. I'm an extension wearer and I've tried a lot of big brands and unfortunately previously been left disappointed. I've had the hair in for 3 weeks and every time I wash it - it feels as soft as the day I brought it. Not only that but I had to dye it to match my hair and it still felt insane (I was sceptical as I know dying isn't recommended) - but long story short, I'm obsessed with the hair. Brilliant customer service aswell. I also found them so affordable in comparison to some other brands and this hair is better quality! If you're thinking of ordering - do it. I just wanted to add - I have seen a previous review saying the ends are fine and look frazzled - the ends of my weft were slightly finer but it gave a more natural finish when fitted. My hair extensions do have a natural wave at the ends (when wet) and when it drys it does have texture (just like natural hair would before heat has been applied) - however the second I straighten or curl it the hair looks sleek and exactly how it's supposed to - to me it just confirms it's 100% human and high quality 🥰
