BE CAUTIOUS! Avoid this service!

BE CAUTIOUS! Avoid this service! The pick-up agent tried to charge us three times the pre-paid rate without any explanation. We were jet lagged but thankfully noticed the credit card machine displaying 2000 pounds (the pre-paid rate was 600). When we refused to pay that amount, the agent quickly deleted it. Then he denied us the ability to rent a car when we requested to ADD a day to the contract, claiming it couldn't be extended. We offered to pay for an additional day separately, but he insisted they don't rent cars for just one day. Unbelievable! As a result, we had to take an Uber to a local hotel for the night, so we could pick up the reserved car the following day as per the contract. This completely disrupted our travel plans. Furthermore, after our 20-day rental, we returned the car without vacuuming the leaf debris on the floor, and now they are charging us 200 pounds for "damage." BE CAUTIOUS with this service. Preserve your peace of mind.

Car was given away!

We booked a car through a broker, including our flight number. Due to many flight delays in Europe, we arrived 1.5 hours late, but the service had our flight number to check the details. Still, they gave away our car and demanded €900 again. They could have contacted us, as our plane landed on time for pickup. We've had many bookings before, but never experienced this... truly no customer service at all.

Overall a good experience

I used a car hire broker to arrange a rental at an airport. The car was supplied by this service. Initially, I was concerned after reading negative reviews, but my experience turned out well. It was a bit challenging to find them at the airport, as they are 500m from the terminal and not well signed. I had to look for the main provider, which is their discount brand. There was a queue, but not as long as others. They did push insurance, but that's common in car hiring. I received a different model than booked, but it was well-equipped and spacious. Returning the car was easy; just handed in the keys and got confirmation via email within an hour. Maybe I was lucky, but my experience was far better than those shared in reviews.

Quoted one price, charged nearly double!

I was quoted one price but ended up being charged nearly double on my card. There was no justification, no response to my emails, nothing. Avoid this service.

My experience was a complete nightmare

My experience with this service has been a complete nightmare. I booked a car, paid £655, and when I arrived to collect it, I was abruptly told I couldn't have it — no explanation, no alternatives, nothing. When I asked about a refund, I was assured I would get one. Weeks later, I still haven't received anything. I've contacted customer service multiple times, but they claim it's not their responsibility because it's a third party. This is misleading; they are part of the same group. It's clear they use this brand to take payments while evading responsibility when issues arise. After reading other reviews, I'm not alone in this; many have lost money without refunds.

Frustrating experience at the airport

I rented a car from an airport and returned it after hours. At checkout, I was told to expect an email with key return instructions, but it never arrived. I reached out through the online portal with no response. When I called customer service, I was directed to a non-existent car park and desk. Ultimately, I had to drive back to the airport before my departure to figure out how to return my car and keys. The service was incredibly frustrating.

Charged twice for insurance!

I was charged twice for insurance at the airport. The service had already billed me for insurance and extras, but when returning the car, the counter staff insisted on charging me for insurance again, claiming the insurance paid was to them while the car belonged to another provider. I had no choice but to pay again. It took nearly two hours to resolve this at the airport.

Avoid this service at all costs!

Avoid this service at all costs! They have taken our money and continue to lie. We rented a car from an airport. Our plans were delayed, and we called to inform them we would be late, receiving reassurance that the car would be held for us. Upon arrival, they had no car available. The agent at the desk was extremely unhelpful and rude, claiming our car was given away because we were two hours late and the only alternative was to pay an extra €2,200. We rented from another provider instead and are still waiting for our €850 refund for a car we never got — nearly three months later with no sign of it. They insist they fulfilled the contract. I feel compelled to warn others — stay away, they are dishonest!
