Misleading Purchase Experience

I purchased a sofa that was presented as a Rossini, but it turned out to be a counterfeit. The frame was from China, which wasn't disclosed, and they claimed the leather was Italian without providing any proof. When it arrived, I discovered it was labeled as being from China, which was shocking considering I paid £2500 for what I thought was an authentic piece. The color in the store was a warm cream, but the sofa arrived in an unattractive dirty grey, a color I dislike. I reached out to the service with a photo showing the color difference, but they insisted it was correct, explaining that the store's lighting made it appear different. Honestly, they are deceptive; they sell inexpensive items as if they are originals. I hope others learn from my experience and find true satisfaction elsewhere, unlike the disappointing grey sofa I received.

I wish I could give zero stars. This service is a complete disaster. I put down a deposit for furniture, and they assured me delivery would happen in 2 weeks. I clearly communicated to their representative that we needed the items urgently as we were moving into a new house without any furniture. He confirmed the delivery timeline. Fast forward, I called to follow up on the order, and they told me they would 'check with the supplier.' When they finally responded, they claimed the delivery was postponed until mid-January! That's nearly TWO MONTHS beyond the promised date. It got worse – they attempted to push alternative mattresses on me instead of the three I specifically tested and agreed to buy in-store. I was clear about my choices, yet they kept suggesting other options. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. In a later email, they contradicted themselves. They said that after taking my deposits, the supplier informed them of delivery delays. How odd is that? If they had just called the supplier, why didn’t they inform me immediately about the delay instead of waiting for me to reach out? There are too many inconsistencies in their narrative. When I requested a refund, they provided an unprofessional email address and insisted I put it in writing, which seemed unnecessary since they clearly couldn’t fulfill my order. I sent my request, and then they offered more 'freebies' (which I declined) instead of refunding my money. After that, I received a slow out-of-office reply stating their office was closed... from December 19th? Who closes that early for the holidays? I drove by their location, and it was clearly still open. They also sent me a random, undated letter from their supplier confirming the delivery delays. Why should I care about their supplier issues? I made my purchase directly through them, not the supplier. This is just another attempt to cover up their inability to deliver. They’re scammers, plain and simple. Their positive reviews are either fake or coerced from customers sitting in their reception area, pressured to write them. I’m glad I said I’d do it later because I’m now pursuing legal action. AVOID this service if you don’t want to lose your time and money!

I paid a deposit for furniture with a promise of delivery in 2 weeks, clearly stating to an employee that I needed the items urgently due to moving into a new house.
