Each time we have visted Lanx its been an event , great help from the staff as well as being friendly and polite ...But the Boots!! ( we are now a 4 pair family ) are with out doubt the most comfortable stylish boots I have ever owned ...Thanx Lanx !

I own several pairs of boots and shoes. All are made to a very high standard and seem to get better as I wear them.
I have one pair of boots that I wear more than any of the others and they needed new heels and soles
I sent them off to Lanc who refurbished the boots. They came back better than ever. If you haven't tried them yet. Give them a go,you won't regret it..
The delivery was missed. They use Royal Mail, which is less reliable than other couriers for communication. I would not buy from Lanx again due to the lack of updates on the item's delivery status, including missed deliveries or delivery confirmations. When I reached out to Lanx about their poor communication, their response essentially stated that it was a problem with Royal Mail. Other online vendors do send updates, but Lanx does not.
I received the following automatic response from Lanx- copied and pasted below. They would like to charge £6 for premium delivery for purchases over £200. I am returning the item.

"We get that Royal Mail’s communication can be patchy and, unfortunately, some delivery issues are out of our hands. If you’ve rescheduled for collection at a pick-up point, please note we can’t take responsibility for what happens after the address is changed, as per our policy.
If your parcel hasn’t arrived after one more working day, let us know and we’ll look into it further for you. We also offer a DPD Premium Tracked Service for future orders if you want a different carrier – this is a paid option (£6) and, like Royal Mail, comes with full tracking.

I sent my shoes for repair, but after the service was completed, the customer support manager ceased all communication. I haven't received any updates or my shoes back. Now I'm attempting to get a refund, but I'm met with complete silence. I hope to recover my money, but this experience has been very disappointing and I cannot recommend this service.
I bought a pair of Raisin Grained Settle Boots on November 24 from the local shop. The service there was outstanding, and I immediately adored the boots. They look very stylish and are incredibly comfortable. It's wonderful to witness such craftsmanship still being present. I can't recommend them enough! Thank you to the team!
I own a pair of boots in Brown and Black, and they are outstanding. Incredibly comfortable, they are surprisingly lightweight for such high quality. The sole feels light and springy, almost like a trainer, yet they maintain a traditional appearance and exceptional quality. I genuinely love these boots; they have transformed my experience! Kudos to the team for creating such an excellent product. I've used them on the farm in mud and snow, and they keep me warm, dry, and stable. They also polish up nicely with a bit of leather balm, making them suitable for going out as well.
I’m currently breaking in my new boots, and when the company refers to them as “proper boots,” they truly mean it. These are outstanding boots! They included a card with advice on how to break them in, which I’ve followed. Within just a week, they've become the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. I've been a fan of another brand for years, but these boots are on the same level. I can see them lasting for a long time. I initially ordered a size 8 but found them a bit snug. The return process was smooth, and within a week, I received a size 8.5, which fits perfectly. I was surprised by some negative reviews about customer service because I found their support to be excellent, responding to my email right away. I’m quite particular, but these boots are truly fantastic, deserving a 10/10 rating. I really appreciate the commando-style soles as well. Highly recommended, and I will definitely return for more. The packaging was impressive, comparable to what you might expect from much pricier footwear. They even included an extra pair of laces, which I thought was a great touch. If you're considering a pair of these boots, go for it—you won’t regret it!
I needed assistance with my initial order, so I reached out to the support team on a Friday at 4:50 PM, expecting to hear back by Monday. To my surprise, I received a response later that same day asking for more details, which I had overlooked. I submitted the additional information on Saturday afternoon, and by Sunday, a solution was found. The communication was fantastic. When the boots arrived, they were absolutely wonderful. I'm eager to see how they hold up, but I have high expectations.
