Is there less than 1 star? Not an American boutique company as they want you to believe. What comes to you could have come out of a gumball machine! If you want to return the jewelry it has to be sent to China. I will not use again and do Not recommend them.
The jewelry came many weeks later than expected and it looked nothing like the picture. Very cheaply made. The earrings looked like a 5 year old painted them with the wrong colors. They offered me a 10% return but it never happened.
SCAM ALERT!Do not order from this company. They sell cheap, mass-produced jewelry that is a complete joke. I paid $113 for five pieces, and the delivery took forever. When I asked about returning the items, their response was: “Return shipping and any customs fees are your responsibility and usually make up 50–60% of the total cost.” Absolutely maddening and dishonest. Stay away!
First, I didn’t receive 3 of the correct items. They sent different style of bracelet. The 2 items I ordered didn’t look anything like the ad. The butterfly ring was cheaply made with a gap in the ring like it was adjustable. It had spots of paint for the flowers and butterflies. The earrings were the same way looked like jewelry you get in a penny machine. It wasn’t worth over a $100, more like $10 for the whole bunch. They wanted me to ship it back at my own expense which would have cost more than $100. BTW, they indicated on the site, her work shop was in the states not overseas. This is why it took over 2 weeks to receive the order. I avoid purchasing items from China for many reasons. To get a refund, I had to open a dispute with my CC company. These people needs to banished from selling in the USA & on the Meta platform.
I'm usually a researcher, but this time I was 100% convinced this was a legitimate site. ..it was so believable.Don't do it, you'll be 1000 % disappointed. As I scanned through the Lara Green website, this one bracelet caught my eye. Evidently, their website has the capacity to track while you view the product. I kept getting emails from them offering 10% off, I finally "caved in." I ordered one item, a bracelet with 3 silver strands and a single pearl. It arrived today in about 2 weeks. Each strand was in an individual tiny zip lock bag which was numbered stating "ordinary plating." Looks like it came out of one of those machines you see in a arcade in a plastic bubble you can purchase for 2 tickets. Complete rip off! The bracelet is nothing like the photo on "Lara Green," website. So dishonest, so upset...taken for a ride. The bracelet is made of silver colored plastic bits. $33.00 for a $1.50 fake piece of crap! This was advertised for over $100. Also, to top it off, minutes after ordering this piece, I happened to go back online and look at the "Lara Green" website and that's when I discovered all which was written about the hoax website. So, I emailed immediately to cancel my order and they emailed back and stated the order was in progress and essentially telling me "too late." I then cancelled my credit card fearing it would be used and abused. This was a total mess and huge mistake...but, I'm a lesson person and wanted to share this with you. FYI, they never gave me the 10% off!
I actually rate ZERO stars but that isn't an option. I placed an order and next day realized my mistake. I requested the order be cancelled. It was showing a status of ordered at the time; nothing else. A few days later I am informed the order can not be cancelled, it was shipped which was not the case via the postmark of the package when I received it. Informed the company I was marking package REFUSED and RETURN TO SENDER. The reply was I would be charged a 40% restocking fee plus the US 'address' they use is not 'their's' and probably they would not receive the package back. They told me to contact them for a shipping label that I could use for the return but I would then have to take to the PO and pay for shipping.
I've been waiting for my $100.00 worth of jewelry for almost 4 weeks. I keep getting emails from whomever saying they're sorry for the delay, be patient, etc. I finally started reading the reviews and realize I've probably lost my money unless I can get my Credit Union on them. I'm going to keep trying to get someone at the site, but I'm not holding my breath.Since this review , I finally have almost all of my order, but one of the rings didn't arrive, but instead a replacement. The pieces don't look exactly like their pictures and the rose gold is a little questionable. I will not be purchasing from here again
If I could I'd give it negative stars I didn't receiving my order. I did research and they have a 1.2 rating from 188 reviews. The phone number on the website is not in service and there are other discrepancies on the website. I contacted them via email and explained the circumstances If they don't refund my money I will report them to the FTC. The email to FTC is done all I need to do is hit send.
I ordered a ring from Lara Green. It finally arrived in a small padded envelope. There was a small tear in the envelope and no ring. I contacted the “company “ and I only got the run around. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I LOST MY MONEY AND NO RING. WHEN MY CREDIT CARD SHOWED AN EXCHANGE FEE, I should have known. The return address on the envelope was A Distribution Center in New York. Dorothy
