Elderly Customers Beware

I've done research on these kinds of scam websites. Three things are always common and are hard to miss if you don't pay attention! 1. Lara Green, Emma And Mia, etc. always have the same spiel; always retiring and offering their "handcrafted jewelry" at ridiculously low prices. Ever notice they've been saying they're retiring for the past 5 months? 2. These ads are commonly found on Facebook and news websites (for example NBC and Fox News) which experience high user traffic. 3. The picture of "Lara Green" is clearly AI-generated. Unless that woman has the best skincare routine known to man, her skin is unusually smooth and glossy if we're led to believe she's in her late 60s or early 70s. To give you the cold hard truth, they target the elderly because it's common knowledge that elderly people easily fall for scams such as these. I do not mean to insult, but studies have shown this to be a fact. Telemarketers and message bots are becoming too easy to identify as fake, so they turn to AI-generated slop because, to the untrained eye, it looks believable. Look at what the other reviews say: "It looked so beautiful on the website, but what I got was trash." This is a Chinese scam that has been replicated hundreds of times. If you have already bought from them, chances are you are not getting your money back because by the end of the year, Lara Green Jewelry and other similar websites will simply vanish off the internet and be intentionally deleted so the scammers can get away scot-free. Please do not fall for this scam and always do your research when clicking on something being sold.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Unfortunately, I ordered a $35 pair of enamel hummingbird earrings believing I was getting hand-crafted jewelry at 80% off. I had instant buyers regret and only checked reviews after i ordered. I immediately called my credit card company to see if I could cancel payment, but was told the invoice was already in progress and I couldn't put in a fraud complaint until the order was received or was never sent. I called Lara Green company as soon as they opened the next day and tried to cancel my order, but was told it was already in process and I should wait until the item was received and then return it. I just received the earrings today. The exact same earrings are sold on TEMU for $5. They are cheap quality, definitely not hand crafted and definitely not worth the $35 I spent, let alone the $200 the website said they originally cost. I learned my lesson and am not going to attempt to return for refund since I suspect that would be futile or more trouble then it's worth. Their ads are a total scam. There is no Lara Green who is retiring and definitely no hand crafted jewelry being sold.

Clearly a scam. TY

Just wanted to say I did not buy from them after 1) thinking that "Lara Greene" looks AI generated. 2) I googled, landed here and like another comment I read, "I'm so glad I did." This is clearly a scam. TY #Trustpilot for existing.

False Advertisement

Yes, all the reviews are accurate. The jewelry is not as advertised. The ocean necklace and earrings etc are not like the photo and are plastic or some very cheap material. When someone said costume jewelry they meant Halloween costumes, not department store costume jewelry. The rings are cheap more like Forever 21 quality, but not as bad as the ocean necklace and earrings which are plastic, so the overflatted prices and supposed sale is again false advertising. Also, they come from China and the website says she lives in the US and makes her jewelry when it is not this. Also, I blocked all advertisements from Lara Green and now I am getting advertisements from Lana green.

The advertisement is deceptive in her description of the Jewerly using the words gold and silver.

The advertisement is deceptive in her value of her jewerly! Yes, they look as advertised, however as a person who sold high end products, i immediately was curious! The pieces I bought were described as “silver”. Upon inspection there was no markings on the pieces I purchased! Buyer beware!

They market this as jewelry handcrafted…but it's mass produced in China

They market this as jewelry handcrafted by a designer, then you get shipping information from China and crappy jewelry that turns your skin green. Their returns process is horrible as well. Very company focused. Do not waste your money on this junk.
