It is basically a scam, confident the tenancy agreement produced was not even legal after being charged £33! Got a free one from the Scottish Government website. Lesson learnt, the customer service department response was pretty much get lost. Scammer avoid.
It says that their tenancy agreement template is 100% free. After going through the whole form I get taken to a page that wants me to sign up for a licence with a yearly fee in order to download the template. Why can't people just tell the bloody truth?What a f*!@!**g waste of time.
I took the free trial because i needed a tenancy agreement. Upon seeing they offer much more, I figured I'd keep it for a month and get a will and any other bits I could do with. Luckily I didn't delay and went to write a will before paying any money. It's only then I saw that they didn't have options for people in Scotland. I presumed they would as they did for the tenancy, I'm just glad I realised before spending any money. I would rate them 3 stars for not being up front about what parts aren't going to be any good for me, they already knew I was in Scotland before tempting me into membership by offering services that weren't available to me. Though I wanted to counteract the people calling the site a scam so I added a bonus star. It's not a scam. It's an unethical business model, relying on people forgetting to cancel, but they're up front and make cancelling simple enough. Obviously being a law firm they can't be as shady as other companies can be with this stuff.
Thieving cu-ts. I clicked on there sit and realised it was not in my country so I left the site as i need Australian law information. But 2 fdays later there is a $39 payment taken from my bank account for registering with them. How the hell did they get my bank details for 1 and i never registered with them. I have asked for a refund with no reply. I going to contact the Australian Federal Police and report them. Also there is a company in Aus that gets scammed funds returned back to the person who was scammed and they have collected quite a bit of money back from Lawdepot. The UK police should close the thieves down arrest them and they should loose all their assets and be thrown in Gaol.
