The subscription options are very clear, it has helped me create a very clear contract for starting some independent work. It showed me the example of this before giving me the payment options, which allowed me to decide if I felt it was good enough quality to purchase a plan.
Make claims that forms are free , free membership etc, but then offer free trial , after which when I cancelled the membership they kept charging me for 12 months and won’t offer a refund. I have proof of the cancellation and proof of the continuing payments but they said I had reactivated , this never happened, the reactivation was within a week of me cancelling.
I have been trying to write a will but there is no question relating to the distribution of the financial assets then on the printed document a statement appears (section 9) with no personal information. The online chat and email help did not respond appropriately and no phone number provided.
An easily used service which provides a useful and practical link for those who wish to draw up ready documents. The site however will not let you edit documents unless you are using a desk top, which in this day and age is irritating. I no longer have that type of IT. The pricing isn’t well presented and for those wishing to keep a useful resource on tap, it isn’t that clear that the service is much cheaper when paid for annually. The layout for drawing up business documents is a little limited and with most menus and choice facilities doesn’t allow anything out of the usual. I have now cancelled my account because I hopefully will no longer need the service, but provided the user has some grasp of the law and what is required I found it a helpful tool.
Do not even use the free service. I tried to cancel my subscription after I saw a charge in the first month. I did not use their documents they were not of use to me. The cancellation was not put into place and I did not follow up, thinking it was dealt with.I have not been able to watch my bank charges due to difficult personal circumstances, a husband hospitalised with covid and then a house fire ! so whilst living in temporary accomodation, now trying to pick up the pieces of last year, I find this unagreed charge in my account. I find myself having paid for 5 further months, at £29.99 without consent, invoicing receipts normally given in other subscription businesses and without my knowledge. I explained my difficult financial and personal circumstances and they agree to refund only one month. This is a totally inethical business, preying on small business owners who need legal advice.They get their small sums from people bit by bit for a service they do not use, and over time are accumulating money from unsuspecting people who are not even aware of the charges being made.
Absolutely disgusting people. I asked some legal questions regarding the tenancy agreements and they couldn’t answer me as they had no clue. Spoke to me in a horrible tone and were just incredibly rude. I and other agents and landlords I have recommended them to will not be paying them another penny. We have found another company in the same day who deserve our money and custom… those people need some serious training before continuing
