SCAM! AVOID! Like with many others, they will take your money and you won't be aware, sneak charges in. Buyer beware! One woman I spoke to on customer service was arrogant, rude and disconnected the call! This is not normal behaviour. Please stay far, far away from.
WHAT FRAUD!!!I opted in for one week free trail and when on the same opened when tried to cancel, at the end of free cancellation page in t&c it was written I either continue for monthly membership which was to pay 6.99 a month or if going ahead with cancellation (within one week FREE trail), they will charge me £33. WHAT RUBBISH!!!! Absolutely SCAM, stay away from them. I will report them
Didn't realize that free trial was only for one week. The only email that I received from them was a notification of money going from my bank account. Called to cancel and had a very unpleasant conversation with extremely rude person. At the end of the call she just dropped the call. Discussing. Hope this company will not stay on the market for long.
Purchased a contract from them via a subscription, which my client, a lawyer (specialist in counter party risk), said he would not sign as the indemnity clause was ambiguous. I sent Law Depot the comment requesting their legal team review the matter. I was fobbed off rudely and told I would have to hire my own lawyer if I wanted the contact ‘customised’. All I expected was a ‘legal’ contract! I forwarded the details of what their existing contract did not properly address and asked for them to be changed or for my money to be returned but they said they didn’t give refunds and I’ve just been ignored since.Stay away from this company and their ‘legal’ documents, this company sells products that could leave you vulnerable and you will have no recourse. What a scam!
Found and created my template form quite easily, I was also able to download it as a PDF which was a bonus. I did forget to cancel my free trial, (which was my fault) so did end up paying the £30 odd, but it's pretty straightforward to cancel the subscription in the account.
Like others I was stung by the fact that I didn't notice that I had not cancelled the "free" subscription. Sure, it is all clearly written up that this will happen. But I have had no communication from them at all since signing up and you are unlikely to spot £30 going out on your bank-statement. So it is easy to miss. This is of course what they are expecting. Stay away. Morally bankrupt.
I used Law Depot to make a Will. I paid the £35 fee which was well-signposted and now have 10 year access to my legal document. This website is an exercise in reading what you’re getting into. The subscription info is readily available as are the one-off charges. They made what could have been a complicated and stressful creation ofmy Will simple and friendly. I would highly recommend them, but people need to read all the information before deciding whether to sign up or make a one-off payment. All the info is there - it’s not the fault of the company if users fail to understand the process.
