I chose LearnWorlds because the learner experience is genuinely superior to other platforms I explored. I’m building a consumer-facing course for an over-50 audience, so the learner experience and support really matter. I wanted to run a cohort-based programme with gamification baked in, and LearnWorlds delivers that beautifully.
I also needed the flexibility of a third-party email autoresponder, so I’ve paired it with Kit — and the combination gives me a powerful set of tools for onboarding and communication.
The biggest win for me has been customer support. Whenever I’ve hit an issue, the team have been quick to respond (often within minutes), and the tone is consistently helpful and human — not copy-and-paste. Even when something has felt a bit fiddly to set up, support has got me unstuck quickly.

This has turned my progress from smooth sailing to a complete nightmare. My course includes many quizzes, each requiring a video to explain the questions. However, assigning these videos is extremely challenging due to the limitations of the video library. There’s no way to organize it; no folders, no sorting options by date or name, and most crucially, no search function. All of my videos (around 400) are just randomly loaded. I thought naming them correctly would help, but scrolling through hundreds of videos to find the right one is exhausting. Imagine having to do this 400 times—it’s hours of tiring scrolling due to a lack of basic functionality. I've reached out for support, but received no response. My suspicion is that they are aware of this issue but prefer users to link external storage options, which can be as costly as the service itself. If you have a large number of videos, take this warning seriously...
